Good, light, simple for my purpose. Small enough to carry in tote bag. Very fast and easy. A little limiting in sharing files to others. Others have to go their email to modify the file that is word document.

The reason I give this chromebook 5 stars is it totally meets my expectations and does so at a great price. My primary criteria is I wanted an inexpensive laptop that I could use for internet surfing and other cloud computing applications such as google play. It does all of this very well. As most people know all applications are run from the cloud. With that in mind, it will not run something like Microsoft Office so if that's something you need this isn't the product for you. But, it can read MS Word and Excel docs and convert them to Google Docs which works quite well for what I need. If you need fancy formatting or complex formulas this might not work for you. The performance is great, I don't have to worry about anti-virus protection and the never ending software updates required on a Microsoft OS machine. It boots up extremely fast and battery life is typically 8 hours or more. Though it doesn't have much on board storage (16 or 32 gb), it works very well with a USB storage device or SD card. It also supports USB 3. Its got a headphone jack, HDMI output and most importantly Bluetooth which works seamlessly. Screen size is perfect if you are comfortable with a 11 inch display. Display quality is very good too. Very portable, ultra-thin design. After over one month of constant use I have no complaints. It's precisely what I was looking for and cost under $200.

I bought this for my 11-year-old daughter who wanted a laptop, but one small enough she could take with her. This Chromebook is really nice! Does everything a full size laptop does without all the bulk. She got it for Christmas and loves it so far. She's typing papers and going online. It the perfect size for her. Wish I would have bought 2 more for my 8 & 9 year old boys. They already borrowed it to go on YouTube to watch videos. Great deal!

Spent a lot of time researching Chromebooks before purchasing 2 of these as Christmas gifts for family. These are great machines for the money... amazingly fast, great battery life, light-weight, great picture, and easy to use. May buy another for my own use.

Solely purchased this laptop for teaching Google applications. It's a great little laptop to solely use Google apps, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and many of the other Google products. I firmly believe this is not a laptop replacement but a simple easy lightweight device to carry around for quick internet surfing and email checking. This laptop runs a operating system dedicated to Google apps, No Windows OS here, you can't install Office or Windows applications on this machine. And most storing is done to the cloud. Again great little system that needs an internet connection to be the most useful and productive.

Can't believe I paid $114 for this thing. Absolutely love the portability, battery life and even though it's hardware would be very limited with a windows OS machine, it's very quick on the linux based chrome OS and has had no issues with anything I've done online. Might buy another for my wife.

I have read great reviews about chrome books from years. Finally thought to give it a try. Superb product considering the price point, Fully functional almost laptop. Satisfies all the needs for daily work like browsing, mails, videos, excellent sound, clarity. All in all super package. Superfast, boots in seconds without realizing :) Welcome break from laptops which are taking min and mins to start and load programs. Most peoples recommend for college and school students but I found it great for needs of everyone and daily light work. I believe its suitable for all kind of users considering the kind of features and price pt it comes. Using it as complement to the primary laptop. Fully satisfied with the product, absolutely recommended. Track pad is little hard, but i started using it with mouse. Problem solved. Very lightweight can carry everywhere :) looks stylish also. Just add your google account and you are good to go!!..Excellent product.

I picked up this Chromebook as an opened-box item at my local Best Buy on Christmas eve. My local store was completely sold out of all their Chromebooks but I totally lucked out by seeing this on the open-box table. My computer usage is pretty basic, nothing much beyond internet browsing, Youtube, and some basic word processing and simple spreadsheets, so this Chromebook is perfect for me. It's light, thin, fan-less, economical, has long battery life, and probably is more powerful than how I use it. The speakers are surprisingly good. I love it when products are simple and clean and that's exactly what this Chromebook is. I decided to get a Chromebook over a tablet because I need to be able to access some textbooks online, which doesn't work on smartphones and tablets. I'm also not a heavy app user, so the relatively fewer number of Chromebook apps compared to tablet apps does not matter to me at all. I am extremely happy with my Chromebook.

I recently purchased this chromebook, and so far I am happy with it. The machine boots up very quickly, and it is relatively fast when surfing the internet. It also has a long battery life. However, I am not that impressed with the touch pad, but overall it seems to be a good machine.

I bought this at the black Friday price, which was half the regular cost. It was a fantastic gift for my 10 year old who needs web access for school projects, but doesn't need all the bells and whistles of a laptop. The product seems well made and does exactly what it was chosen to do. The size and weight were perfect for her also. I would likely have paid the full price if necessary.

The Chromebook is so easy to use and has such a quick response time. When you are done, just close it and as soon as you open it, everything comes back up just as you left it -so handy if your are researching information and need to leave for awhile. It connects quickly to wifi when your are traveling. The battery time is outstanding. After hours of use it still has more battery time than my old laptop did when fully charged! I would recommend the Google Chromebook to anyone.

This chrome book can do almost everything I usually pull out the laptop for. In general, the computer is for producing work and the tablet is more for consuming(you know-fun stuff). So far the chrome book is doing all my work stuff no problem in a handy, fast little(and light) package. Outstanding deal!

This chromebook is areal good deal .It is light weight,easy to use ,and big enough you don't have to squint to see it. The chromebook does every thing I need it to do.And I like that it synks to my phone.

I love that the Chromebook is quick and simple. With most operating systems I have to figure out where I saved something often. There are fewer options with this. I either save it in Google Drive or Dropbox. The limitations I've noticed is that I can't set it up to our printer because it's not a Google Cloud ready printer. Online it says I can hook it up to wireless printer and there may be a way, but I haven't been able to make it work. The second limitation is that you can't use Skype. This is fine because Google Hangouts works just fine, but if you have to use Skype you're out of luck. I've also found some problems opening some pdfs, but most open up. Overall, I love the simplicity of it and the ease of starting to use it.

I have purchased 3 of these so far for my 3 daughters. A set of twins that are 15 and now recently a 12 year old. These are good for them because they are not really interested in doing anything that involves Windows operating systems. These are strictly for surfing the web and all the apps Google has to offer. They are pretty happy with them and I haven't heard any complaints. I went ahead and purchased the 1 year warranties just in case, but so far so good and they are on them all the time. Just some friendly advice: Try make sure they don't lose themselves in these devices. Make sure that they still know you exist past the screen.

This is different from a pc laptop, it's closer to a tablet. The chromebook is great for kids that need to do internet work for school.The OS is google not windows. It works great, the kid can watch netflix and youtube and type with google docs. The price was perfect. If you want a really fast windows laptop it will cost you over $500.00, this is my that.

This Chromebook is great! I've had it for two months now and the battery lasts much longer than advertised, especially when it's in sleep mode. I go days without having to charge it. It's super light and is very fast, never gets very warm. It is the more sturdy feeling option of the ones offered at Best Buy, the hinge is strong and still pretty easy to close and open. Google Docs is equipped and runs smoothly with Windows; Google drive deal for two years is awesome to have included. Very happy with this purchase!

The Acer Chromebook is absolutely wonderful to use. I love how light it is and easy to carry around. It works pretty good. I haven't had any troubles using it. It's a great device and it's also inexpensive. I bought mine for $129.99. I have been looking for an alternative to my Ipad because there are some things I an unable to do.

We bought this because we wanted something smaller than a laptop and bigger than a tablet. We did not want to spend a lot of money. This was highly recommended. We love it. It does everything we want it to and will probably do more in time. Speed is very fast, easy to operate, even my husband loves it. We carry it almost everywhere.

It's fast and very light to move around . It works good onWiFi and uploads photos fast. Battery life is long-term. Also good for streaming movies.
