My teenage daughter loves this laptop. It is perfect because everything she needs it for school is done on Google cloud with her classmates. For people who don't understand what a Chromebook is do your research. If you understand the limitations of a Chromebook you won't be disappointed. This has great screen resolution. Only bad thing is it gets dirty easily.

I haven't had any problems with this brand laptop. The updates are automatically. But one thing I would improve upon is the substantial battery life, otherwise it would be a five-star winner!

I'm a tech person. I build computers and I'm the go to tech support for my family. What I've found is that seniors who have limited knowledge about computers thrive well with chromebooks. They are simple. The OS refreshes with each boot. It does what they need which Facebook, Google docs, pictures and internet. Plug in an sd card and they can download more pictures. The one thing I hope that chrome with add is unchecky.com.

I spent hours reading reviews on chromebooks and checking prices on various websites. I learned a lot about the differences between a chromebook and a Windows based laptop and decided to try a Chromebook this time. I have been very happy with my purchase. The resolution is great; speed is phenomenal and it didn't take that long for me to adapt to a Chromebook after using a laptop for many years. I would highly recommend a Chromebook for internet browsing, watching videos, and reading emails.

Have never had a chromebook before. Got it because i needed something to have while i was away from my family while on work. Chromebook was very fast in start up and worked very well for what i used it for.

I bought this for my mother after her last laptop gave up on her. She has been enjoying how intuitive the chromebook's OS is and how convenient and fast it makes her day to day computer needs. Great performance; it can handle up to 9 tabs of YouTube open before bogging down. Aaaand last but not least how affordable it is for the performance that you're getting. I highly recommend this model!

I bought this chomebook four years ago, and it's still going strong. Last week, my eight-year-old landed on my screen and broke it. I nearly cried. I ordered another screen on Amazon, went on YouTube, and replaced it myself! It's as goodas new. My family has a total of six chromebooks, and this one is my favorote. Works well, love the big screen for watching movies and shopping.

Bought this on more of a demand by my son rather than a recommendation. Being not very computer savvy, I needed something that just worked for me without a lot of unnecessary programs. Kept getting malware and other junk on my pcs'. Been using this for close to 2 years now and it is great for me. When and if it breaks down will get another one. Chromebook is the way to go if you are having issues with pcs,.

I switched over from a traditional laptop to this chromebook. I like the Acer and it is light and easy to handle.

Purchased as a gift and he loves it! Easy to use and picture is great. He really likes the larger screen.

Overall, I love the Acer Chromebook. It's perfect for my needs and starts up/shuts down instantly. I did have to send it to Acer about six months after purchase to repair the screen because it was appearing washed out in pink but they allowed me to do so within the warranty period (1 year). The screen issue aside, the laptop is great for browsing the Internet and streaming videos. I'd recommend it for the price and portability but be wary that you may have to send for repairs less than a year after buying.
