Great product for high school student laptop/desktop replacement. It is able to meet all our needs as most work is web based and does not require software downloads. This is the second one I have purchased. The first one worked so well, I decided to purchase another one so my kids did not have to share. They are economical, the cost of both Chromebooks combined was still less than the price of an average laptop.

This Acer Chromebook is perfect for me. Its 15.6" screen allows me to actually 'see' the screen, which is a change from the other Samuing 11" Chromebook screen that I have to squint at. The 4GB Ram and 16 GB drive is awfully modest, but for my day-to-day Chromebook task purposes I've encountered no obstacles with streaming Netflix or Google Chromecasting. Plus, the gleaming snow white Acer body is really eye catching. The upward-facing speakers are excellent (different and better than the Samsung's downward-pointing speakers). Yes, this 15.6" beast is a bit heavy (4.5 lbs?) but I'll gladly take that for the extra screen real estate to have a more generous screen. I know smaller is cooler and better in this MacBook Air and Chromebook minimalist day and age, but for this BIG Chromebook with minimal RAM and internal memory and modest prixe is everything I need. I would not, however, get any less than 4 GB of RAM with any Chromebook. I'm very pleased with this purchase, especially as I'd tried the smaller Chromebook first, encountered some frustrations, and then opted for the bigger screen with minimal tradeoff on price difference. One lasat worry about this snow-white Chromebook was keeping its snow whiteness clean. So far no problem. It still looks beautiful and striking and clearn, with no maintenance and LOTS of daily use.

I love this chromebook. It serves it's purpose as an all purpose device. I have no complaints. For the price and the quality of the device I am completely satisfied.

Great profuct. We bought this for my mother-in-law. She searches the Internet and does Facebook with it. She is very happy with the product.

My daughter's expensive computer quit on her & we wanted a quick replacement that wouldn't break the bank. She says it works fine for what she needs. Best Buy even price matched for us three days after purchase when Costco came out with a better price.

Love my new laptop! It is super speedy, and so very easy to use.

So far it's a good laptop. No problems yet. Hopefully it continues to perform well.

fantastic chromebook with spectacular color displays & crystal-clear viewing

My mom bought this Chromebook on the recommendation from a Best Buy employee, after listening to what she wanted it for, playing her online Pogo and Facebook games. She loves the speed of the machine and how fast it is turn in on. My mom is hard to please and she LOVES this computer!

A good feature is Its light weight. Down side is its big to carry, how else can have that large of a screen....

We are switching to Google for everything at work and this has allowed me to access my work folders from my Chrome book and be more efficient. I often wonder if I got too big of one, but after watch movies on it..well I'm glad I went larger

bought this for my parents to replace windows laptop. they don't miss the old one at all. if browsing is your primary activity and you do everything else on your phone, this chromebook is a great option. portability may be issue but is comparable weight to similar screen sized laptops.

As a student on a budget this laptop is by far one of the best purchases I've made. In the past I've bought MacBook pros but this time I didn't want to spend too much money. I saw reviews and came to find that this laptop has everything I need for school and it cost no more than $300 (with tax) I would recommend this laptop if you're into simplicity.
