I love this laptop, I use it for streaming a lot of Netflix/Hulu/YouTube, all that good stuff, and I use it for school, I’m in college and I’ve been able to do everything I need to from here. I’ve had this for 3 years now and it still works like a champ, the charge even lasts a sufficient amount of time!

Bought this for my mom who is not very good with technology, easy to use and set up.

Our granddaughter requested a Chromebook for her birthday. After reading reviews on various units we decided on this one. It was a hit. She loves it. The only thing missing is a touch screen but that was not important to her and was not worth giving up the extra screen size.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it but she has cd’s so not having a CD player is the one drawback

This chrome book was the perfect Christmas gift for my dad. He was simply looking for a device to use at home for searching things on the web and watching YouTube videos. Couldn’t have been happier with this purchase. Easy to setup and good device for someone who isn’t very tech savvy. I’d recommend this for a friend

Wish I had this during university. Internet and speed is just so fast, faster than pc. It starts up quick, shuts down quick. It's the future, everything mobile. Now, I'm waiting for google to allow android apps.

I thought about buying a desktop or laptop, but the truth is that I have all I need on my current desktop. .My concern was that the internet was getting a little slow. After considering all choice and prices, I decided that this Acer Chromebook was what I need. I made a very good decision. I love it. The big screen is great !

I bought this chromebook with all the expectations of keeping it. It loaded fast and browsed quickly as well. The odd thing, was when I was typing, I was making more typos then I usually did. What I discovered was, the keyboard layout is not really you're typical qwerty, all the letters were shifted over toward the right, weird, huh? Not sure if anyone else has this problem....I returned it :(

I would buy another chrome book save money on security and eliminate a lot of popups

Wanted uncomplicated web browzing and Mail reader to use when not at my desktop. This fits the bill very nicely. Good value

This thing can do the same things that a laptop an do for a quarter or half the price of a normal laptop, runs Google docs which is about the same as Microsoft Word and it's free, stream, transfer files, downloads, Skype. What more can you ask for?

My sons desktop computer went out and we decided that he used a Chrome book at school, so one at home would be good too.

Got this Chromebook for my sister who is not very technically inclined and it has been working well for her. One feature is that you don't need antivirus software. However, she did access a site that had a virus that took over the Chrome browser and it was impossible to get out of it. Even powering down and restarting again would immediately open the browser and lock up the system again. It was pretty easy to restore the system back to the way it was when purchased (found out how with a web search) but I was disappointed that it could be attacked at all. Other than that, the Chromebook is fast and works very well. Being able to do searches by saying "OK Google" is something she really likes. For those who don't need to run software specifically for Windows or Mac (you can do most common tasks with the free Google Docs suite) This is a great choice.

The size and color of the chromebook was exactly what I expected. The description was very accurate.
