I recently purchased this chromebook for my freshman daughter. She likes the feel of it & the off white color scheme. I would highly recommend purchasing a memory card because it's on 16g & it fills up quickly causing the laptop to run slower.

I have been using Chromebooks since 2011. I'm a Senior and use mine for streaming TV series and movies, social media, and email. The operating system is easy to use and I love the protections built in. So, my choice of OS was clear. I chose this ACER model from the reviews of buyers, the increase in memory, and the giant (in comparison) 15.6" screen. The processor is fast. No lag with the 4 GB RAM. I really like the keyboard feel and the trackpad is twice the size of my previous Chromebooks.This model has the speakers facing up, a big improvement from the small speakers on the bottom that is standard on all smaller models. But, to be honest, I absolutely love that big screen! I think it is a lot of 'puter for the price. Two thumbs up from me.

Its great for surfing the web, paying bills, etc. However, I don't find it very conducive for work or school. However, for the price it's great if you just want to do the basics.

Bought this laptop for my non-tech savvy mother. Basically the laptop is just for the internet, all saves files go to goolge chorme servers, you will be force to use google docs and their features, other than that it is a fine laptop.

This is perfect for a young child learning to use a computer technology.

The keyboard is wonky but it gets the job done well enough.

The wife only plays games on facebook this laptop does her fine job.

This is a great little computer for my kids. I did not want to purchase Microsoft Office, since everything they use at schools is with Google Doc's and on ChromeBooks. Only downside is it is sometimes kind of slow loading pages, but I think that is actually a problem with my internet service.

This is the best chromebook you can buy. The screen, Hd, 4gb of mem, and 1080p.

Bought this laptop for my 10yr. The laptop is fast and is capable of accessing Microsoft web version so he can still work in Word, PowerPoint etc. Great for research. I’m going to buy my mom one.

It's a light computer it has great speakers and it's easy to use

This is my 1st Celeron ever and I am pleasantly surprised. Chrome OS with 4GB RAM seems to work perfectly to surf the web. Not quite ready to give up on the Win10 laptops, but since I mostly use a computer to be on-line I spend more time with my Chromebook, especially if I'm at Starbux or such when I do not worry about data theft. Very happy even with fact that white does discolor with time, no matter how careful you are.

For $249.00 this machine is very fast and runs very smooth. It has a bright full 1080 HD screen and doesn't show much if any glare. it connects to the internet fast and comes on in 7 seconds or less. its all white and all the keys are black. it does not come with a caps lock key so yow will have to use the shift button for the caps lock function. it uses the google base platform so its a little different than windows but works great for surfing the internet and watching movies ect.

Easy to understand for beginner for a lap top. Perfect size screen, may not do a white computer again. Unless the sales person had told me an easy way to clean it...
