I really liked this product the first couple weeks until it stopped turning on. I did try the hard reset by pressing the refresh key while powering on but still nothing. The light indicates that it takes a charge but the screen won't light up. At this point I'm deciding if I want to just buy a different Chromebook or if it's worth investing in getting this one fixed.

Acer products SUCK!!!! Their customer service also sucks! I will never purchase an Acer product again! Stick with HP, you will be much happier.

I bought this because I did not have a laptop and I have a High end Desktop. Since a windows laptop would cost me over $1000 for the quality and speed I am used to I thought I would give this a chance since it is not windows. I love it. The SSD makes this pc boot up real fast. Since it is a chrome os it is fast and does not require specs that windows does to run. I have used Windows on this using remote desktop and it worked perfecty.

Wanted to ditch Windows and can't afford a Mac. As an intermediate user I really like this. Still getting used to Chrome OS but it's quick and sound is great, Highly recommend.

Over the summer of 2016 I decided to get a Chromebook because I'm a teacher and our district was going to a 1-1 program using them with our students. I wanted to become more familiar w/o breaking the bank. I also was in need as my laptop was on it's last legs. I did quite a bit of research and decided this model had what I wanted-I was NOT disappointed. It's an AWESOME choice. First, the set up is quick and easy and there is a crazy battery life on it. In addition, when power is low it charges back up very quickly. The screen is larger than most standard Chromebooks and has great resolution so it's perfect for watching shows. Having speakers on the sides of the keyboard also gives excellent sound quality. The keyboard is slightly smaller than a laptop, but not as "scrunched" as other Chromebooks. The keypad is very responsive. I have used this Chromebook now for 9 months and cannot say I've had one single problem or issue with it. Highly recommend!

Nice looking, not a fan of the chrome operating system. After wasting much time trying to hookup my Samsung laser to it I called India for support. Short phone call. Your brand new cloud print ready laser is not compatible with the Acer Chromebook. Also the wife can't stand the lack of scroll bars. Very tiny. so back to the store with it.

I bought this lap top because the sales man "not a best buy, but a google" told us it was top of the line and it was what schools were using. Well it doesn't play any of the online games, it wouldn't work with my kids online school and I returned it as soon as we found out. Best buy was great about returning it and helping me pick out a new one.

I've owned two ChromeBooks and this one is the best by far. Screen is large and resolution is excellent. The screen also hasn't fizzled out like the HP ChromeBook I owned previously. Processor is quick and computer is very reliable. This is a perfect computer for browsing, email and reading books via Kindle Cloud Reader. Hard drive seems to have a decent amount of space although I don't save much on the computer.

weak battery does not last very long, constant errors where where it will apologize to you and needs to be rebooted...you get what you pay for..one half of screen is darker that the other half...All this happened when warranty was up...hmmmm

Love my new Chrome book 15.6. Very easy and quik to start up. Very clear picture. Excellent for basic use such as surfing the net, facebooking, skyping etc.

Bought for my daughter for Christmas. After only using it for 3 days the screen went out, came back on with green tint to it. Luckily we just bought it & have geek! Other than the screen, its easy to use, fast, lightweight & overall perfect for my 10 year old and myself sometimes. They r supposed to replace it so ill update review if new one works correcrly after a few weeks of use.

I needed a laptop but can't really afford a Mac right now, or a Windows laptop that I'd actually want. Screen quality is one of the biggest factors to me, and the cheaper laptops tend to have really bad screens. I've used Chromebooks before and like them, but again a lot of them have bad screens. The screen on this computer is awesome. 15.6" with Full HD. I don't know if this is actually an IPS screen but the viewing angles are fantastic, and it's non-glare. This screen at this price is just amazing. The specs are great. I wish it had more on-board storage but I always wish that unless the computer has a 1TB hard drive. My only real con regarding this laptop - and this is obviously a very subjective thing - is that I feel it is kind of ugly. They sell other colors (at least black) but not in the "consumer" model sold at Best Buy. But again, that's subjective and many people will like the look.

thought it would be good, make sure you ask what you can do with product before you buy. Misleading. Slow running and just not a good fit for surfing web etc.

I had to buy this chrome book . Trend micro renew blow my computer . What people say online is not what the store saying .virus protection is no help at all .

Didn't care for it, took forever to connect the wireless printer, mind you he is IT and then it rebooted itself and deleted the printer. Took it back

People that pass this Chromebook up because they don't trust or know the Acer brand, I am here to tell you that you are missing something. Out of all the ones Best Buy offers, this is by far the most remarkable product on the Chromebook table. It is fast, the battery life is excellent and it starts up and shuts down in a flash. The 15.6 full HD screen makes surfing, watching videos easy on the eyes. The 4gb RAM runs multiple task with ease. If you are looking for a great easy to use Chromebook, then do your self a favor and give Mr. Acer a chance. If I could rate 6 stars I would.

TOO LIMITED AND RESTRICTIVE AS I NEEDED TO USE MY PRINTER AND THIS WAS NOT COMPATIBLE.

It was dependable until 11/20 when it went dark and never came on again

Upgraded from the 11... Larger screen, better overall performance with the 4gb's of ram. Streams lag free from Wirelss Router - to chromebook -to chromecast stick. Grabbed on sale....Now streaming football on both chromebook & Big Screen in another room...Fit my needs Perfectly..........
