After playing with this laptop at Best Buy, my wife surprised me with one for my birthday. I run a macbook most of the time, and also a windows laptop and desktop. Point said, this is really an incredible machine. Speedwise, nothing in the price range can touch this machine. It is also quite lightweight for a 15.6" machine. It is very simple to use, and works very well. I would definitely buy another one, and am sold on Chromebooks.

Turned it on and played with it for seven hours , still have lots of battery left. So far it runs perfect and very happy I own it.

This computer is better than I expected, the speakers are great and the screen looks good with full HD. It also gives a good computing experience for a chrome book.

I have wanted one of these for years but could not settle for that small unimpressive screen quality of the previous versions. This 5th generation rocks it! It's perfect for only $300 especially while I was planning on buying a cheap one while my expensive 2 in 1 gets shipped off to be repaired for 30 days. Heck, I might not even send it off now and just keep using this baby at home and use my work computer at work. This, my 10th laptop is truly a best buy.

I bought one for my daughter when she was accepted into her graduate school of choice. She loved it so much that I bought one for my son, who was starting his undergraduate program. They both are able to use them for all of their studies and assignments with no complaints. Great purchases!

Ugh. Google vs. Apple. I seriously feel dumb. I asked lots of questions about this laptop before purchasing, and even opted for the larger screen and double memory over the smaller versions. But didn't even consider that it would not be compatible with itunes. I have an iphone. How am I going to back it up? Good bye, sexy chromebook, Hello return. (fooled by an apple imposter) Too bad. I really liked so many other things about this computer. Some other cons: the fonts are very small. This would not be good for people who have a hard time seeing small print. Also, as you're waiting for a screen to load, there is no indicator that you're waiting, like a spinning wheel for example.

I look at the negative reviews I have read about Chrome OS, and the things this device is "missing", I laugh. I bought it for because it isn't a Windows PC. I can't remember the last time I stuck a disk in my PC, so I don't miss it. I do not load colossal software packages, and I am not a gamer. It boots nearly instantly. This is an ideal computer for me because it does what I ask of it. My next purchase will be a Chromebase.

Mostly easy to navigate, even though I'm not very 'commuter savvy'. Just wished it came with more directions on 'how to...' I'm certain that if you know how to navigate these electronics, you'll find this chrome book superb.

Eight hours after buying this chromebook it decided not to power on anymore. I talked with Acer and it appears to be a battery issue. Acer suggested returning for a replacement. I hope Best Buy will replace it. When it worked I loved it - light weight, quick loading webpages.

I love my new computer. It is a lot bigger than my last one and it makes it easier to read on. It does well for all my games I play and I had no problem setting it up.

Easy to use light weight only thing I had is the chrome software

Being the type of person who only ever gives great reviews, I felt the need to make my first 1 star (would actually give 0) review because I’ve never been so mistreated by a company in my life. This laptop was great at first! But I didn’t even have it for 10 months went it crashed while I was using it, claiming the OS was missing or damaged. I made several attempts myself trying to recover it with tons of research online. I ended up having to call customer support, the first guy told me my warranty expired (it didn’t, it’s a 1 year warranty and was still in it’s warranty) and told me I could send it in for $125. LOL. The next lady I was put on the phone with hung up on me while I was explaining to her what was going on. I am furious. This is a terrible inconvenience and Acer doesn’t want to help me with their product. save your time and don’t buy this laptop.

I originally purchased one for my daughter, loved it purchased another for my wife, then another for myself. This is a great chromebook.

Great laptop to use, turns on faster, don't have to wait for all the applications to load like a laptop. Compatible with online virtual school. The resolution is great too!

I'm not a huge fan of the whole concept of a Chromebook, but if you're just using it for the limited tasks it can do, this is a solid computer at a fair price.

I have loved my computer but I just got back into school and it does not allow me to download any type of apps or Microsoft systems that I need for school so I am a little upset about that.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she has not had any issues
