I purchased this to replace an aging Acer Chromebook 317. Downsizing from a 17.3" inch screen to a 15.6" screen was not an issue. This Chromebook's 15.6" screen is adequate.
The build quality of this one is better than the 317--probably because it is a little smaller. It is lightweight. I would have preferred an aluminum frame to the plastic one this has.
I like the keyboard. Many large-screen Chromebooks add a numeric keypad. I prefer the basic keyboard this one has. It leaves additional room for speakers on the sides. The backlit keys have adequate travel.
The speakers are the loudest I've heard on a Chromebook. There really isn't any bass to speak of though.
The Chromebook Plus OS takes significantly more storage space than the standard Chrome OS. This system consumes 60 GB storage space as opposed to 16.7 GB on a standard Chromebook, leaving less than 200 GB available storage on the 256 GB SSD.
Speed is significantly improved over the Chromebook 317. This one's Core i3 processor significantly outperforms the Pentium N6000 I was used to. Its SSD storage is also much faster than flash.

The
Acer - Chromebook Plus 515 better than I expected, it came with everything I had been shopping for. I finally decided on Best Buy because they had the best price and I knew they had real good support if I needed it. The 8 gig ram and 256 storage is why I bought it, and it is lot faster than my last Chromebook.

Love my Acer Chromebook, have owned and used for about 3-4 weeks now. So much faster than my old laptop. So far has excelled in everything I was looking for as well as the ease of use and setup.

Arrived quickly. Many extras like back-lite keyboard, large screen plus more including very reasonable price. The screen is a bit on the dark side. I would buy again.
