This computer has been very reliable for my 9 year old who is known to be a little rough with his tech items. It handles all of the educational tasks, including Spanish tutorials, that we assign him. It has also handled all of his gaming activities without any lagging or glitching. All in all we're very pleased with this purchase.

Goood: The quality of the laptop is great, screen is great, it feels solid, battery last more than 7 hours, keyboard and touchpad feel great. Good: It a heavy in tablet mode. Feels a bit slow when you have more than 3 tabs open on multiple web sites.

This is for my 11 year old daughter (5th grade). I've heard the middle schools use chrome books more than windows based computers. While we have barely used this, it seems pretty straight forward and fast. Picture is really clear. I wanted to give my daughter some practice on this laptop before using it for 6th grade next year.

I found I was using my cellphone more often than my laptop to complete a variety of tasks; but I wanted a full keyboard. When my HP Pavilion (with Windows Vista) really began to creak along and my Microsoft Word program had been replaced by an upgrade forcing me to begin to use Google Docs and Google Drive on my laptop, I realized I didn't need a conventional laptop anymore. This Chromebook was worth waiting for because it will eventually be home to Android apps as well. The unit is all metal and exceeds my expectations for durability and convenience. I hope Google maintains its "open" system instead of becoming the Microsoft "upgrade software annually by buying new software" system. I realize some folks may need specialized programs and require an "old-fashioned" laptop; for me, the Chromebook is quiet (no fan), starts up pronto and the keyboard on this Acer is just as easy as the one on my old HP. Saving $50.00 because of Best Buy sale was icing on the cake.

Build quality is great and the performance is good for an arm based Chromebook. Display is good at all angles and the keyboard has great travel. A good buy if you like the 13inch form factor.

This computer is pretty snappy and is nice to look at. I love how versatile it is, but the hinge makes the screen so shaky when touching it.

We purchased this Chromebook in hopes to use Android Apps to edit some videos for our YouTube channel (#BubbasGarageTV) Unfortunately Chromebooks and Android apps are just not ready for mainstream video editing however I have to say I was very impress with the over design quality and performance of this Chromebook. If you are looking for a productivity machine. This Chromebook and the addition of the android apps you will be in hog heaven. Good build quality, looks attractive, long lasting battery. Google store apps run in beta mode, future updates should make this stable.

Nice size, clear screen. Easy set up. Had a little difficulty connecting to Wifi in the beginning but restarted my Wifi and it connected immediately.

When I first turned booted up the Chromebook the screen would flicker and I thought I had a defective unit. Some research online showed I just needed a software update. Annoying to take out of the box and have to deal with that but every since it has been great. My 5-year-old loves the touchscreen and tablet mode. It does seem a little slow loading some pages like Google Inbox but it's not bad enough to be annoying.

Having used the chromebook for over a month now. I can say that the operating system boots and updates quickly. There is plenty of battery life even when watching videos (>10hrs). Setup was simple although I had to load the beta channel to get the Play Store. Video and sound quality are very good. The machine is a little heavy if you plan on traveling or carrying it a lot.

Excellent battery life, beautiful screen, good sturdy construction. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new Chromebook.

This is my second chromebook. Love the 13-inch screen which is also HD, Keyboard is one is one of the best I tried.

They use chrome-books at my my daughters school and she loves them but this one has the added features of being able to fold into a tablet and being a touch-screen version. She can't stop working on it and as a 10 year old she really wants to learn more and I feel this product inspires her to want to go the extra mile in her studies.

Works great. Light weight. Long battery life. I'd buy it again without hesitation.

This computer is great for any casual user. Like most chrome books it's not for heavy computing work. But for someone like me, who mainly uses it for watching videos and surfing the web, it's perfect. The variety of positions you can flip the screen into and the touchscreen are great and the computer itself feels sturdy and well made when you're contorting it.

My first laptop. I was looking for one with a touchscreen and found this one.I like the 2in1 concept.The only con is when you fold it into a tablet, the keyboard doesn't have any protection.I'm looking for a cover that will fix that problem. Overall, I am liking it.I would recommend it, with a warning about the unprotected keyboard.

First of all, I love Chromebooks. I've been using them for years and would never go back to a traditional OS. That being said, I've never been a fan of the plasticky cheapness that comes along with the low prices of Chromebooks. I also own an Asus Flip (which I love) but only use it for travel because it's just too small for everyday use. I was hoping this would be a big "Flip" but the build quality is not as good.

Nice size and weight. Good screen image. Comfortable price.

Built quality is excellent, ok for youtube and some basic school tasks. I expected it to be faster, but I guess spec has limitation and you get what you pay for. Do not expect it to out performe windows laptop with high cpu and ram capacity
