Easy setup, worked great out of the box. Much faster and has none of the limitation of Wi-Fi range extenders.

I needed a home internet wiring solution and with existing cable throughout, this was the perfect tech to use! Installation was a snap and I have high speed hard wired connections where ever I have a cable outlet. You do need an adapter at each outlet, so be judicious on where you actually "need" a hard wired connection (I have ones at my smart TV, wired access point upstairs, and in an upstairs bedroom office).

I needed an extra 1Gb connection to my office. Running another Cat5e/6 to the office was impossible so I decided to utilize the existing cable coax drop in the office using this MoCA 2.0 Bonded adapter. I believe it took all of 15 minutes to have both units mounted (I like clean installs) and up and running. It's zero configuration and just works! I haven't performed detailed speed tests but I know I've gotten near 1Gbps and that's good enough for me :-)

Plugged this in the basement Coax and connected a network cable to the PS4 and it significantly improved the internet connection. No more lagging during game play and improved the time it takes to download a new game. Prior to this we were using WiFi to connect and we were getting anywhere from 7 to 15 mbps. Our max download from Comcast is 600 mbps. With this device we are getting over 300 mbps.

    Great for renters!

Excellent choice for renters who can't run ethernet, but have cable. Better latency than a mesh system and also greater speeds. Super easy to install. Hooked up access point to main modem and used it to connect another router on far end of house. About 3ms increase in latency compared to direct ethernet. Would highly recommend. Be cautious though as this will not work if you use Dish/DirecTV

These are great if you need a wired connection. Forget the ether over power adapters these work great, and are more reliable. I have one on my modem/router, then one on my gaming PC, then the last on a router for my home theater roku and other devices. If you want far reliable internet get this. Only issues I've had is with Sonos sound bar not liking the router connection.

My kids play Fortnite in the basement and was struggling to get them a good stable connection both through WIFI and even a powerline network adapter. Finally picked this up and it's been great. Did an internet speed test and got almost the full speed of my FIOS 1 gigabit connection. Only downside is that it's a bit expensive.

I wanted hardwired ethernet in an upstairs office with three computers. Hard wiring ethernet cables would have been cost and construction prohibitive so I was left with WiFi. I wanted the speed and latency that comes with hardwired cables though. I read about these and decided to give them a try. They are exactly what I was looking for. One attaches by the coaxial, router location downstairs. It then sends an ethernet signal through the coaxial cables already run throughout the house. Then the second one attaches to a coaxial cable in the area you want ethernet at. Then just attach an ethernet cable to it and run that into the computer or device you want wired ethernet. I ran it to a 5 port ethernet switch to hardwire 3 other computers and a network printer in the upstairs office. I am getting just as fast internet speeds (600+mbps) with these as I do hardwired to the router which is what I get through my ISP. I can't speak for the longevity of them, I've only had them running a couple weeks but I've had zero issues whatsoever with connections or speeds.

I wanted to run Cat6 ethernet, but it would have been a real problem in an older house. Fortunately coaxial cable was in each room. The package comes with the two adapters, coaxial cables and splitters if needed. They provide near ethernet speeds and couldn't be easier to install. Highly recommended.

If you need wired Ethernet in a location where you’ve got coax, grab this set. It’s super easy to setup and it’s super fast. You can easily get point to point gigabit Ethernet performance with this set. It’d be nice if these were a little cheaper and smaller, but they do their job and do it well.

This package comes with everything I need. I have fiber coming in with Ethernet in attic. However, the attic has only the cable hub. I have to buy this unit to convert Ethernet to Cable to bring the internet to my room. Then use the Cable to Ethernet device to my wireless router. Using these two units for over 6 months without any hiccup. Highly recommend it except that this unit is sort of expensive.

Moca network is a great alternative to Mesh

The ability to have a fast network throughout the house. The ability to use ethernet in any room with a cable outlet has been great. Best of all worlds, high speed internet upstairs downstairs, hard wired or WiFi. The only issue was required a little trial and error for setup with a cable modem.

Great solution, but encryption not available

Bought these to replace powerline networking devices that were maxing out at about 280 megabit. These Moca adapters are giving me around 940 megabits consistently, so a huge upgrade, and much easier and less expensive than paying someone to run cables through the walls. Be sure to install a Moca filter to prevent the signal from leaking out to the neighborhood. This doesn't have an option to encrypt network traffic.

At first I got the single one, but realize with my setup i needed 2. Hooked it up to the coax in my office so it can connect to my desktop using the ethernet. It legit expanded my connected (plugin) internet without additonal wires going all up and through my house. Been about a good 2 weeks now and the speed is still beyond what i have. So basically no lost in speed. ALSO just be sure you already have coax outlets because that is what it needs. And of course the original one will have to be connected to your modem so it can relay the info to the other adapters. Other folks did a horrible job at explaining how to truly hook it up. The original have to ALSO be connected to the modem to "receive" and "send" the intenet connection. This thang is a life saver.

Transmits Ethernet at 1 Gb over coax

Works as designed. Easy to install. No configuration required. I used this to connect an Ethernet port on my router downstairs to an Ethernet switch upstairs using the the existing (1990’s) cable TV coax wiring. Negotiates and transmits at 1Gb. Easy way to extend layer 2 network to areas with poor WiFi coverage. Used point to point. I have not tested multiple connections on the same coax wiring.

Recommend this for those that don't want to run ethernet cables all through their house. I get the exact speed I would be getting with a wired ethernet connection. I don't have cable TV. I'd be surpised if the connection is just as good with it.

Installation took not more then 10 minutes. Instructions are very precise. It takes about 1 minute for the green light to appear indicating that installation was complete and communication was established. So be patient. It is a little too expansive, I think, but works great.

These MOCA adapters work great! Super easy setup - just plug and play (assuming all your coax wiring is connected). No more spotty wireless for the Xbox! They worked so well, I bought a second set for the other rooms to have direct internet connection as well. A little pricey, but worth it.
