This AcuRite Thermometer is a fantastic addition to our new garage freezer. Having the ability to track temperature variance and an alarm that sounds in the house for temperature fluctuation is a must.

We apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with the units, but we would be happy to assist! First, if you have more than 1 unit in your location we ask that you make sure each display and it's corresponding sensors are on a different ABC channel. If they are all on the same ABC Channel this can cause interference and the units will not operate as designed. Also please confirm you are using fresh, regular, Alkaline batteries in the display and sensors. You may use Lithium batteries in the sensors as well, however for the display we recommend only fresh, regular, Alkaline batteries. Once you have confirmed the batteries are correct please perform the following troubleshooting steps on the unit, this is different from the steps in the manual and would be recommended as well. Hard Reset: If the display unit is showing dashes or the temperature readings are inaccurate, please review the suggestions below. Please follow the steps carefully as the order is crucial to the success of the reset.
1. Bring all 3 units together, side-by-side. 2. Remove all batteries from all 3 units and change to a new, matching ABC channel. 3. Reinstall batteries in the thermometer display unit first. 4. Reinstall batteries into sensor #1. 5. Reinstall batteries into sensor #2. 6. The display unit should read temperatures from both sensors almost instantly. Please allow the units to sit side by side for 20 minutes, untouched, and compare the readings at that time.
