This speaker CD player has all the functionality I was looking for. Unfortunately, it is so bass heavy that I’m not going to use it much, if at all. There is no way for the user to change the preset EQ. I have tried different types of music from CDs and also streamed pop, R&B, jazz, classical, etc. from Pandora. If you like hearing bass runs over the rest of the music, you might really enjoy this device. But for me, it was a swing and a miss. I’m giving it two stars instead of one because it does have the functions that I wanted and it is nicely designed for a small space.

Replaced a Bose Wave Radio with this Awia. It’s as good as the Bose, sound wise, if not better. It has more power and Bluetooth connectivity. The price is a bargain at $135.00. I would highly recommend this desk top system. I’m am going to buy two more.

It plays well. Easy to use. Quiet mechanism to start and stop player.

I was expecting better speakers for the price. My unit sounds somewhat tin-y. I was also hoping the clock had an alarm like my Bose unit, which is no longer made, but there is only a clock. Not very happy with how cheap everything seems to be on it, including how the cd tray opens and closes. My reason for the purchase was to replace my CD player aside of my bed, which are hard to find anymore.

I wanted to like this product, and I did—for about two weeks, and then I realized that something inside the device was likely causing my CDs to skip. I would put in the CDs in clean, pristine condition (seriously, brand new CDs) and they would skip every time they got toward the end of the album. When I would take out the CD, I'd see that the CD was suddenly filled with specs of dust and debris. I was constantly having to take out the CD to clean it and listen to the audio with no skips. I ultimately had to return this unit because it wasn't a pleasant listening experience. This unit was exactly what I was looking for at a great price—the audio was great in my office, the Bluetooth pairing was quick and seamless; but it unfortunately started skipping more noticeably as time went on. Please watch out for this potential issue!

I am happy with my CD player, I listen to my CD's while I work on projects around the house. I have a lot of CD's, so it's nice to hear them again.

As advertised and just what we needed for our small living room. It's nice to have an FM radio in addition to other features.

Returned item an hour after delivery.. radio was all static, cd kept saying disc not read. If there was less than one star review I would have used it…
