I bought the computer for gaming. No complaints with Alienware or the product. Everything is well made and operates smoothly. However, Windows 10 has caused multiple issues with updates. I have been able to resolve the issues using Alienware optimization. The case lights are cool! You can customize the colors. Overall I am extremely happy with my computer, and would buy it again.

It has been a long time since I purchased a nice gaming desktop computer. I am really glad I purchased this one. You can't beat it with the price! It is definitely great for gaming and is more than powerful enough to do VR with my Oculus Rift + Touch Virtual Reality Headset. It is a powerful gaming desktop, but super quiet. I am looking forward to many hours of fun with it.

This is the first complete off the shelf system I have ever bought. I usually prefer to build my own so I can choose the components I want and assemble it including the wiring the way I like too. So, with that said I purchased this system due to the ridiculous costs of individual components like the video card and ram that we face these days. I was hesitant due to alienware cheating out on certain parts that system builders notoriously do such as power supply and motherboard. And then they usually preload a load of bloat ware. Well, I am very happy to say that this pc came with well known components allowing easy upgrades when needed and no bloat ware. I got it home and opened the case to inspect how it was assembled. Very clean inside and overall a very well made pc. The system plays all the lastest games without any hitching and the options module really helps boost the system start times. I have since added and nvme drive but besides that I don't see me changing this system for a couple years yet. Quality product. Highly recommended.

Got this back when GPU prices were high. Solid processor, graphics card, cooling and compatibility. Power supply is on the cheap end, and the BIOS is temperamental if you change any system components. Replacing the optane drive with a m.2 was beneficial, but was difficult to get right and should not be recommended for beginners

As an upgrade from a crappy non-gaming laptop, the Aurora R7 definitely impressed at first. Considering the specs, this was to be expected. It annihilated any of the games I was throwing at it (Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, CS:GO, Black Ops 4), and was even able to run these games and stream through OBS simultaneously with ease. The build quality is great, and the case looks pretty sleek and stylish, with some RGB lightning (typical of Alienware). I do have a couple of complaints, however. On occasion, the GPU will pass 80 degrees Celsius, which is considerably higher than I would prefer. I also wish they made a similar model with nearly identical specs, but with an SSD instead of a HDD. My biggest complaint would be the price. I managed to pick this up on a crazy sale, but at the regular price of $1500, it's hard to swallow, for the specs at least. There are more cost-effective prebuilts out there. If you're considering this PC, definitely wait for a sale. Overall, my experience with this PC is very positive. It's served me well for every game I throw at it, and I'm looking forward to gaming on it for the years to come!

The processor boots so fast like instantly so I don’t have to wait if you want to use it right away. Graphics says it all. My games and videos runs so smooth just the way I wanted it! The engine is so quite even at night and that’s important when you want to focus on what you do. I’ll definitely buy one more for my son.

I have not purchased a prebuilt computer in many years. I have been building my own gaming units since 2000. I recently decided it was time to build me a new one. When I started comparing prebuilt prices to what It would cost me to build my own. I was floored! You cant purchase the Intel I7, Motherboard and Geforce GTX 1070 for less than what it will cost you to buy the Aurora R7. I am very impressed with how well its put together and can handle everything I throw at it. I am also impressed at the lack of bloatware. The only complaint I have is the lack of different setups stocked by Best Buy. I am very impatient and don't like to wait on shipping. I would much rather have the one above the unit I purchased. It has the SSD drive. That would be my only complaint. I am very happy with my purchase so far.

With the crazy prices of video cards (because of the crypto mining craze), this system on sale was a no brainer. So far I’ve been able to run most games at max settings. The only reason I knocked off a star was because it came from the factory with Intel’s Rapid Storage Technology software installed. Apparently that’s not compatible with this system, as Alienware had me uninstall it and install something specific to the Optane memory. After that, no more messages about hard drive failure. I should also say Alienware was very quick to remedy the issue.

Hello all you gamers out there! My name is Danny and this is a great pc to get. The quality is amazing and the delivery is fast. I stream often and I’m getting better quality graphics and more FPS then I ever have before. It’s not super huge so it can fit in pretty reasonable areas. I was turned off of Alienware for a while after dell bought them out but I have to say that this is the pc you need. And for all you parents out there wondering if this is a good buy for your child, yes, yes it is. It runs smoothly and quickly and I’ve never had problems with the internal qualities. The colors are nice and setup is easy. I really do hope you all got something from this review.

I've purchased this Alienware computer about a week ago to replace my laptop because I missed gaming. I'd been researching and reading reviews as this rig would be lasting me a good 3-4 years at least. This computer is AWESOME! Bootup takes less than 30 seconds, it's super responsive on day-to-day tasks, and is a gaming rockstar! Just to test it out I installed Grand Theft Auto V and put all the settings to max and this thing didn't even blink twice. The Intel Optane memory works better than I had expected it to as far as speeding up the system. Buy this computer!

Fast PC. Quite and runs cool. Plays all my newer games with no problems. Beware that windows 10 will not play your older games off of your discs. Like Call of Duty's Medal of Honor's, Far Cry's and lots of others. I didnt know this when I bought it. The only way around it is to buy a Digital copy of the old games you still want to play on Windows 10. Whish it had a Solid State Drive also but it does not. Other than those 2 things it rocks

I bought the computer on sale and could not build one for what they wanted for a prebuild one. I really like that this is water cooled so that there is hardly any noise at all when gaming on it and dang near silent when surfing the web or watching videos. Eventually I plan on putting a M.2 drive and decrease the boot time but otherwise it is a great machine.

Just bought this computer the beginning of March, purchased during a sale. Set up was easy. It is a powerful machine. I am using it for basic home tasks and browsing, as well as some gaming (Call of Duty, etc). Looks great and handles games well at 1080 high settings and 1440 at mid to high depending on game. I am going to get an Oculus Rift as the unit is VR ready and I am excited to put it to the test. I would purchase again in a heartbeat!

The Alienware Aurora features a meticulous, zero-fat design and is the first to offer tool-less upgrades to graphics cards, hard drives and memory. Designed to keep cool. Inspired by the thermal ergonomics of the Area-51, the Aurora provides optimal air intake on the front and right panels and an exhaust fan on top for maximum airflow and cooling of internal components.

Super fast Near silent No bloatwear Came out of the box ready to go I've been custom building PC's for 15 years, but this was too good of a deal to pass up. There is no way I could find these same parts separately for anywhere near this price. My only complaint is that there is only one 3.5 inch drive bay (which comes already occupied). I'm going to have to buy an external enclosure for my storage drive.
