Love them. Bought a bunch and everyone does also.

I found it works exactly as advertised. Have been using it for about three weeks and it works great. I would say the only thing, as others have said, is that if you load pictures on the SD card, internal memory by usb, and through the app it will not slide show and randomly pick between the different folders. If you pick the SD folder you only get a slide show of the SD folder. If you choose the Cloud folder, pictures from the app, you only get pictures from the app. I just don't load pictures from the SD card, just send them from the app. Very nice though to be able to move pictures from the cloud folder to the SD folder and remove the pictures people sent and file them away on the computer. After a while you will have too many pictures or get tired of seeing the same ones and you can remove them and not lose them. I bought five of them and sent four out as gifts and everyone loves them and everyone has been sharing their frame IDs with other people already and they are in love. The picture quality is great. I found you should turn on 'smart color' under the display settings. I hope they do updates to have it do a true random screen show between all available storage locations, but I will just send pictures for myself from the app as all my pictures come from our phones. Very happy with the purchase at a sale price and then a further discount for a bulk buy. Amazing deal, but still a great frame at the 'regular' price as other 10" frames that can do the same sharing were still another 25% more. I think you would be happy with your purchase. Don't be swayed by year old reviews. It seems like Aluratek has the frame much improved.

I seen reviews saying picture quality was horrible and when I took pictures with camera and transferred from phone to frame the quality was poor and the pictures taken with iPhone were great so I took sd card out of camera and transferred from sd card to frame and the quality is superb and I love it so if you take pictures with a camera just put the sd card in frame hold your finger on pictures and the check the ones you want transferred to frame easy setup

I purchased this as my old one was getting...well old. What a fantastic little unit. Within minutes, i had it up and running. I downloaded the app from the google store, and within minutes, I was uploading photos to the frame, and split seconds later, the photos were being displayed. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking to get a unit. I may get one for my parents and send them photos daily to keep them updated on what the kids are doing.

Gave this to my mom for mothers day and she absolutely loves it!! It is super easy to use and load new photos, and she doesnt have to stare at the same photo everyday when she passes it! Super fun way to see new memories without having to go to the hassle of printing out photos! Highly recommend! I am even asking for one for my birthday!

Purchased this frame for my brother in law and sister in law for Christmas. Thought it would make a nice gift. Opened it to load pictures on it before giving it to them and was amazed at how easy it was to load pictures. Downloaded the app and sent the pictures. Loved the ease of operation and how I can send pictures to the frame from 1000 miles away. I loved it so much, I want to purchase one for myself. Only downside is the picture quality from the cell phone is not perfect. They loved the gift!

Spent between 5 and 7 hours trying to get this to work. Instructions are very involved with lots of steps. Frame says Link not completed, program on phone says link completed. Photos sent to frame email, nothing on frame - shows no photos loaded. Supposed to be a present for my 87 yo parents who were nearly in tears when we couldn’t get it to work. I am returning it.

    Frame's Features Don't Work

    Posted .

While the picture display is excellent, just about everything else about this frame is a huge disappointment. I received this frame as a Christmas gift, and it stopped working after 4 weeks (just long enough to be unable to return this frame to Best Buy for a refund). I now have a replacement from Aluratek (after waiting almost 3 months for them to decide to send me a "new" unit), and it's not working correctly either - right out of the box. My replacement unit came in a plain box, and the unit had scratches all over the back of it. I clearly did not receive a new unit as a replacement. Now it seems I've inherited someone else's non-working frame as a replacement. The first frame just stopped displaying pictures. The slide-show would stop after about a minute. No amount of restarting would help, and "resetting" the unit did nothing to correct this. The built in on/off timer does not work on either unit. The start/stop times are ignored, and the frame just runs 24/7. Taking it off the wall twice a day is less than desirable, since the timer was one of the options that led me to request this frame as a gift. (Small design quibble: The power cord has a rectifier that sits about an inch below the frame when you hang it on the wall.) The built-in Wi-Fi doesn't work as advertised either. It's supposed to let you transfer files from your "mobile device" to the frame across your home network, but it doesn't work. You can download a couple of apps, but they don't work as expected either. The apps let you transfer one photo. Yes, one photo. That's hardly a feature. This frame is a huge disappointment, and Aluratek's Customer Service and commitment to their products is pathetic.

The thing I love about this frame is the simple way you can upload new photo's to the frame via Wi-Fi through the mobile app. My only gripe is that I have tried multiple times to link the frame to fb with no success, following step by step instructions with no luck. Very frustrating. That being said - I am very satisfied with this frame so far.

Great display quality and color. Good brightness. Easy to get on wifi and connect to mobile devices. Some wifi loaded pictures flip or rotate for no reason during upload so you need to rotate on the frame's touch screen which isn't the most responsive. Once set up tho it's awesome.

App for iPhone doesn't always work

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I purchased this as a gift for my mom for Christmas. Everyone that wanted to upload pictures from their iPhones installed the app from the App store. The app only works about 1/4 of the time. Once you select Gallery from the Photo Partner App and select the pics you want to upload, more times than not, the app shuts down and you have to start over. It is very inconsistent. My mom loves the frame but I am seriously considering taking it back for a credit. I paid $150 for this frame and it's disappointing it doesn't work properly. Also, the whole product is lacking a lot of instruction on what the capabilities of the product actually are. I keep seeing that Aluratek comments on consumer reviews that there was a glitch on Christmas Eve but as of New Years Day, we were still having the same problems.

Does not work as it says it should.

Multiple devices sync to it fine, tried it and connected from Android phone and IPhone, but that ended up being a moot point, as regardless of the device used, even though the app will still SAY it's sending to the frame, only the first 9 photos will ever actually show up on the frame itself. The app is rated abysmally for this reason on both Google Play and Apple store, so we ended up returning it like so many others who found this to be unacceptable. There are much better options that work as they say they should, this just isn't one of them.

Was super excited about this product!.. for about an hour. Spent three hours trying to get everything connect and test a few pictures and nothing woulwork. The app failed everytime and I was not able to upload any pictures from my phone. Huge waste of time and I am returning it tomorrow. Just read the other reviews, they are spot on about all the problems I had.

I received this frame as a Christmas gift and was very excited to receive it. After 2 weeks the touch screen was not working, pictures were not loading onto the frame and then pictures started to delete off of the frame on its own. I was able to return the frame to Best Buy for a replacement, however the replacement frame did not have a frame ID, so now I cannot link this frame to the app., so now frame no. 2 is being returned. I have contacted Aluratek by email with no response. I have left messages for a return call and never received a call back. When I finally was able to reach a Aluratek customer service person they were no help at all. Very disappointed and frustrated with this product and the support Aluratek has provided. Would not recommend this product or company to anyone.

The frame set up was very easy, but be warned this is does NOT work the way it promises. Using either the android app or the facebook option brings any progress to a hault. Neither of those options uploads any photos to the frame. I even attempted to to upload just one small photo using the app and it did nothing. I will be packaging the frame back up and taking it back. What a disappointment for Christmans Day.

I bought this, so I could download pictures to it via WiFi, instead of using a memory card. I used an iPhone 7 Plus and IPad Pro. Pics taken from the devices looked good. Any photos I downloaded to my devices, such as my drone and cannon camera, came out blurry on the digital frame. Example - Downloaded a picture from my Dji phantom drone to my iPhone. Picture looked great. Then I used the photo partner app to upload the pic to the digital frame. Photo was blurry. Tried this several times with different pictures, same results. I will be taking this back tomorrow....

    Horrible Device

Im not sure why this product has good reviews because it's awful & is not user friendly. The Facebook feature has never worked even though I linked the accounts. It's supposed to up upload new pictures but doesn't. There's an app to upload pics using wifi but you can only upload 8 at a time & the app crashes 9 times out of 10 without uploading any photos. The photo quality when adding photos with wifi is terrible & my pictures are shot with a canon rebel. Other reviews saying saving your pics to an SD card & inserting gives better quality but that defeats the purpose of the added cost for wifi. You also can't arrange any of the pictures to display in the order you like. The weather icon doesn't give information for any place near where I live as well. This frame was a terrible purchase all the way around.

    didn't work

This was supposed to be a gift for my wife's birthday. We had to return it because the slide show didn't work. After showing 2 or 3 photos, the slideshow was interrupting and going like crazy into settings menu without touching anything. Tried both USB and SD ports with the same result, so maybe something internally was screwed. We got a full refund after doing a demo with the defect. I also found weird there is no option to copy files from external card to the internal memory. If there is something like that I couldn't find it and the books coming with it doesn't say anything about it. You would think that is the most useful and easier function to implement in a device like this. I think I had too much expectation from this device but looking at the price I thought is worth something. I wasted my time to make it work and keep it as a gift. My wife was laughing at me all this time.... Anyway, I'm happy it didn't work so I can get the money back. No one is paying me for the lost time though and for my wife's lost confidence that I can pick a nice gift for her.
