My internet has "brown outs" often abd my previous speaker did not keep up. The Echo resets itself and continues after a brown out. Nice sound, easy to program, has my favorite stations.

Great sound for such a small item. I love this, I use it daily for controlling appliances, lights, and prime tv. I plan on getting another for a stereo setup for movies

This Echo speaker has great sound to play music and is super functional. Easy compatibility with Amazon Music, Spotify, XM Radio, etc. plus lots of other useful skills means this gets lots of use throughout the day. I would give it 5 stars but it still has a bit of room for improvement with device setup through the Amazon App on a phone.

Nothing to complain about. this thing sounds great. I love how loud the speaker is and how clear Alexa sounds. Don't bother with the Dot, go for this.

Needed a little more “pop” than what the dot gives us. Have it set up in our kitchen. Plays all day. Great sound and ease to set up. Glad we made this purchase.

I've owned older Amazon Echo products and this one was a much-needed upgrade in terms of size vs. sound. It's room-filling sound (and better bass than older models).

I bought this device for the main floor of our house. It is loud enough and clear enough to be heard all over the house. Really good quality for the price point.

Gifted this to my sister. She loves the sound quality and the Alexa personal assistant features! Small and compact space saving but still packs a punch.

I needed to even out the sound within a larger room where I like to listen to music while relaxing and/or reading. I already had an Echo Show 8 and an Echo Studio in there but there was still a coverage hole. I thought about another Echo Show 8 but really didn't want another screen in there. This fit the bill perfectly. It has a very nice range of frequencies and is unobtrusive. It blends in with the other furnishings well and filled that dead spot beautifully. It sets up very easily using the Alexa app and comes in at a decent price for most budgets.

I don't use the Amazon Echo as much as others might but it is fun to have around and it is not difficult to set up. I did purchase a "smart plug" at the same time and this allows me to use Alexa to turn on/off the designated light from anywhere using my smartphone. I recently noticed the top of the Echo blinking a yellow light which seem to indicate I had a message. After a little research, I learned how to turn off that feature. I may not utilize all the features the Echo offers but I do have it set up to do all the basic things I would like it to do. Whether it is telling you about the weather, getting the joke of the day, taking a daily quiz, finding out what's on TV, etc, I think you will find it fun to have around. I mark it down slightly on "ease of use" only because there may be a little learning curve on understanding all the features and figuring out if you want them active or not. I think there could be better instructions on what each of these features are and what they may be used for.

Smaller than the previous unit, much richer sound, too. And the blue fabric padded covering is quite a bit more attractive than previous models.

The sound quality is really great at this price point - not to mention that once initially paired w/ the app it’s all voice control from there. There are better speakers out there for sure, and at varying prices, quality and features...but for everything this is, it simply cannot be beat on sale for only 80 bucks!!! This replaces my Echo dot paired with an Oontz speaker, and I’m also giving 2 as gifts this year now that I know how awesome it is.

Works perfect! It was easy to set up as well. The volume was clear and she understood what we asked very well. My kids had a blast with it.

Nice sound, it's little but mighty.. Love it.. Gives multi music channels and can hook up to spotify, pandora, or just listen to music off the radio

I installed the Echo in my home office. Install was easy and intuitive. I use it primarily for music, news and weather. Works just fine.

This amazon echo is so convenient to use. Can be use with Spotify music through this speaker. Sound is so good with this small speaker

Purchased for my daughter as a surprise Christmas gift. Very happy with the decision. The quality is great and the simplicity of use is awesome.
