I was really impressed with the quality of the Echo Dot. It responds well to requests and is a great price for that, compared to the full Amazon Echo. You get most of the features of the Echo at a significant savings!

These are great little devices if you want all the functionality of Alexa but don't need the full sound of a full-sized echo. Love that they are constantly adding skills and updating the software!

Overall I like the Echo Dot , however have not found much use for it beside reminder and music . The Dot is very kid friendly. There is a parent mode for the Dot , as well no need to purchase a kid Dot.

I've got a few of these, they are cool but not 100% stable, I have to power cycle pretty often to keep them synced.

Love these things, they make note taking and reminders easier. My kids get weather updates and drop in on us in other rooms to find us. We also have trivia nights and use Alexa to settle disputes.

the Echo Dot works like you'd think. You ask Alexa to do something and she tries. The microphone is good. The speaker is OK but not great. It's a little soft in a loud room. It has an audio out and bluetooth if you want to connect it to a better speaker. As an additional Alexa device, you can't beat the price.

Bought on Black Friday for $39.99. Haven't mastered it yet but just as a kitchen timer, alarm clock and to check the weather...well worth the full price of $49.99. Plan on getting more for the house and one for my classroom!

We love, love, love the Echo Dot and now have purchased 5--for most rooms in the house. You can't have too many AND because the sound produces such good quality in a small unit, they can replace almost any audio system!

Super little device to bring Alexa’s power in a small package. Was extremely easy to set up....it practically set up itself and connected to my account with no inputs from me.

I started with one Echo, then another, now, my whole home has a Echo Dot in every room, even my garage. If you have a very strong Wi-Fi Signal as I do in my home, these Echo Dot's work fabulous.

I have really enjoyed using this device. Alexa seems to understand me very well even over my loud children. I love using the bedrooms story skill with my kids. They get a kick out of the goofy stories that it comes up with.

My husband loves it! He thinks he's part of the Star Trek cast. He has set the alarm, favorite radio stations, and pandora. We have two at home and gave one to each of our 5 children (married, college and high school aged).

I have owned this device for over a year with no issues. Great purchase for those who are newcomers and want to try out this inexpensive version. I ask for information, play games, and listen to music.

speaker is better than I expected. fun to play with. It is great with the smart outlets to turn lamps on and off.

We have an Amazon Echo(which we love) and added the dot in our loft upstairs. Our daughters love to be able to play music and ask Alexa for info about all sorts of things. It's there very own smaller version that they love!

Kids love it and best gift for kids. Very entertaining.

Bought as a gift for my child. We already have 3 echos.

I traded up from a Google Home and this product works so much better. Once you get all accounts synced to it, it does make things a whole lot easier to order, find out about, play games and music and monitor your home.
