The Amazon Firestick rocks! It's portable and reliable - turning virtually any television into a SmartTv for under $40. Highly recommended

This device is cheap in price, fast, smooth. I recommend. Had to reboot once but overall very good.

If you are looking for a streaming device that is small and doesn't take up much space the firestick is a great choice. It is a fast moving device and is 1 of my favorite portable pieces of technology!

I really love that I'm able to watch Amazon Instant videos with this. Being a Prime Member already, it's free. Amazon does provide free trial period to Amazon Prime for non members. The Fire Stick includes TV shows, movies, apps, music, games. You can also watch Hulu+ and Netflix on this as well. I see why people are dropping cable TV now. There's something to watch for every age group. You won't be disappointed in this purchase.

This is a great product. it is convenient to carry form location to location especially if you are in a hotel room or on vacation some where. It works great, displays an excellent picture, and user friendly

I recently removed a couple cable boxes in the spare bedroom and added the Firestick. It is easy to use and has a number of apps to use.

I bought this to be able to watch my various accounts including HBO GO where ever I choose to in my house and this works great. Don't have to worry about it taking up room since it's about the size of a USB drive. Easy to hook up and start right from the moment you connect. Glad I bought the standard remote instead of the voice because if you have an Iphone or Android phone, you're able to download an app that allows you to do the same as the voice remote and you'll also be able to search with typing in the keyboard vs using the up-down-side to side to select letters or numbers.

Easy to use, lots of apps and choices to pick from. I use both FireTV stick and Apple TV and they are pretty similar with what they offer

I have to say i avoided this Fire TV stick for the longest. I had Amazon on the PS3, Amazon apps on my phone, and Kindle Fire HDX. This thing is more powerful than chromecast. The only thing chromecast has over this is casting to YouTube real easy. This i can use my apps from the Amazon App Store, whether its a game or weather, news app. It will add it to your home screen! Then you have the amazon ecosystem as well. The tinker in me was able to add kodi and i can what my whole movie collection from my PC on the Fire Stick!

This stick streams as well as my full size Roku. Plus, you can side load Kodi to it and get unlimited channels! At $39 it's hard to beat!

The Amazon Fire has a great selection of apps, and I chose it because I needed an option that could stream Amazon Video. I am still partial to the Chromecast, but you can't go wrong with the Fire Stick.

Awesome device if you are a Prime member to get your movies/shows onto your TV and you do not want to use gaming console/BluRay/TV apps. BluRay/TV apps can be very slow, mostly because of the device, not the app. Using a laptop requires a long HDMI cable and when on sale this is about twice the price and you get a remote. I have a Chromecast and bought this just to try and found the remote to be useful. However if you have another way to get Amazon app (like a gaming console) to your TV then you may not need this. Regardless, it does support 5Ghz 150mbps wireless (perhaps even 300). It doesn't heat up as much as the Chromecast, but it does prefer to be run using it's included or good AC USB adapter.

This is one of the best media players out. It is very fast and has enough memory to avoid constant buffering if you have a decent internet connection. One of the best features of the fire stick is how portable it is. I can move it to different tvs in no time. Also, if you have Amazon Prime it makes the sick even more awesome because of the free movies you have access to. If you do not have a smart tv this is a no brainer.

Easy set up and performs flawlessly. I was worried about the wifi only connection, but even at 18 mbps it has no stutter or buffering.

I like the fire stick partnered with sling TV. Super user friendly. Streaming Pandora is a great plus also. The only con is that you can't rewind the stream easily --reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Very responsive and it has a nice remote. With the apps you can install, this stick is extremely convenient and well worth the price.

I have a smart tv but this is a great addition and makes Internet movies and apps so much easier to use. I would recommend using the portion that plugs into the wall. It increases the speed greatly.

Only had it for a few weeks for a small device it packs a big punch. I am very happy with the Amazon fire stick and will be purchasing another one for our bedroom TV and then will be cutting the cable. It seems that Best Buy has a hard time keeping these in stock so if you plan on getting one and you see the store has it you better go and get it they disappear fast. Its a great device for streaming movies for the price and if you are a student Amazon cuts the subscription in half. Pros: Lots apps to stream from Cons: None

Love it! This Device is perfect for the beginner or the professional streaming TV service cord cutter. It has everything that you would want and then some. I would recommend this to anyone out there that is looking for a product to stream wireless TV and jump on the cord cutting bandwagon. There are so many possibilities to explore with this Amazon TV fire stick and I would suggest to anyone that I know or do not know that is looking for a great way to wirelessly stream television such as Netflix Hulu, etc. !
