I love the fire tv, it is replacing the non 4k version even though I don’t notice a huge difference.

This is my fifth fire TV but first with the 4K. I recently purchased a 4K TV and wanted to get the best fire TV to match. I stream all my TV shows and videos with the Fire TV and it works great. Most shows don’t have 4K capability yet But it definitely improves the 1080 P.

I owned a firestick tv and this fire tv was a great upgrade. It is much faster and more responsive.

I use the Amazon fire tv in my living room tv to watch all my show and love it, beautiful picture!!

The 4K makes a great picture and love that it’s behind the tv. I hated when it sat on my tv stand.

I love just telling alexa what i want to watch and there it is. The 4K HDR picture is mesmerizing!

Easy set-up but I thought it was a plug-in and didn't need to be plugged in to an electric outlet. but set it up easily and paired it with Echo.

to be truthful I like this one better then the stick this one is very fast then the stick version

This is a great device that is ready to set up out of the box. Crisp, beautiful picture quality.

Great smart box it’s more pricey than the stick but it’s twice as fast. I prefer the fire tv box

I like the Amazon fire TV unit alot better than the fire TV stick. It has alot more memory and it has a faster processor so it helps steaming movies and TV shows in higher quality. It also has some really great and useful apps built into it. I use it every time I turn my TV on.

I currently have several different Fire TV products. None of them have disappointed me. The Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD and Alexa Voice Remote is excellent and a great value. Unlike Roku, those who want Kodi can easily download the Kodi program on the Fire TV products.

I love that I purchased this device! It is a small upgrade from the 1st Gen Firestick. The Fire TV was very easy to hook up to the TV. Also the setup wizard was very simple! I would recommend this device to anyone that is interested in streaming movies and tv shows!

Even though I have a 4k tv that obviously has smart capabilities, I still wanted the Fire TV. We recently cut the cord and now use PS Vue so this has an app for that. This is also faster than using the built in apps for my tv. It sits nicely behind the tv and it's easy to use.

This is a great piece of equipment to have. Dump all Pay TV & get just what you want to see!!!

The fire box tv is a great buy. It’s a step up from the firestick and has lot better quality.

For the price this is a good streaming box. Yes it is a bit slower than the previous generation, but I've primarily only noticed this in a game (Pacman 256). For its primary use of watching videos I don't really notice a speed difference and it tends to feel faster than Roku Ultra. At first I didn't like the idea of no ethernet port, but to be honest I haven't seen any issues with wireless streaming and have since changed my other streaming boxes to wireless and haven't seen any difference except fewer wires. Having both the Fire TV and Roku in my opinion the Fire TV apps tend to be more full featured than Roku, for example FIre TV may show screen frames when fast forwarding when the Roku doesn't, but sometimes playback with the Fire TV can be glitchy, for example sometimes the Dolby Digital sound in HBO Now has problems. My biggest complaint with Fire TV is that the remote can't control volume and the box doesn't have an IR receiver so it doesn't work with universal remotes. Additional pluses for the Fire TV include the ability to use a web browser (either Silk or Firefox) and Alexa. It is pretty neat to use the remote to tell Alexa to change the temperature on my smart thermostat.

If you want a simple to use unit with a lot versatility and apps to use this is the unit you want. I've set these up on every TV in my house and the picture quality is great. Make sure you have a good WIFI setup and you'll have no issue with this box at all.

Best thing you can ask for non smart tv. It has bunch of apps and more to download aswell.
