This is my second Amazon by device. I was amazed at how many apps were supported on my other Amazon Firestick that I decided to purchase a second one for my 4k tv. The 4k Amazon Fire device has everything that the other versions offer but at 4k. Def recommend the device for people who have a 4k tv. I will add that most services will need to be updated to show 4k. So not expect to receive 4k content if your service provider/app doesn’t support 4k. Still, this thing is even more amazing with Kodi installed in it.

This is truely the best bang for your buck in the streaming device world. It supports 4K HDR and doesn't break the bank. While it's tied to Amazon's infrastructure, I've never felt restricted or tied to their content like I did with my old Apple TV. The app for my phone makes navigating it easy, and you can even sidelode Android apps on it if you know what you're doing. As someone who owns Fire Sticks and the top end Apple TV, this is the device you want (unless you're tied to Apple's store).

At first I was worried about the smaller form factor of this fire tv compared to the older fire tv that was meant to be more of a shelf device. Time has proven me wrong however since I have had no issues with this device where I think I wish I had the older larger model, so in this case bigger isn't always better. Also if you have a tv mounted to the wall with no shelf/stand space around this device can just hang from the HDMI port which makes it easier to hide the device compared to the older model.

I was so excited to get this after a friend told me about it!! I can never find a show going thru the guide, now I can just say the show I want and bam there it is. Cool eh?

This is fast compared to the previous version. and runs pretty smooth. the design is amazing. Good to see 4k contents in this one.

Newer version of firestick. Has 4 k compatibility and is easy to install. Less price than the cube.

The firetv does and excellent job for what it does and at the price is the best value per dollar for as full-size streamer. I especially liked the I didn't require and cabinet top space, freely hang off the HDMI port. What I wish the firetv ad is the ability to connect headphones to the remote as you can do with some ROKU units. I would also like to know ahead of time if I am going to be charged for an app/service. The subscription process in one step and it should be two steps. This is not an issue with /Roku.

The speed and quality is very noticeable. Big difference between the Firestick and Amazon TV. Glad I changed. Thanks Best Buy.

This is a must have for cutting the cord, simple and easy setup, great app selection and the interaction with Alexa is great!

My family does not have cable - we use the KODI software to watch tv and movies. After suffering with slow loading speed with the first gen fire stick, we bought this one. Our KODI software is up to date, and I pay for the fastest broadband available, but this device leaves us disappointed.

I bought this as a gift for older parents. While the Alexa voice search is a great feature, I still am not a fan of the Amazon UI. I think the Roku interface is much more intuitive & easier to navigate, especially for those that are more technically challenged. That being said, once you find what you would like to watch, the streaming has been excellent, the picture quality is very good, & mostly trouble free. This is an option for those without a smart TV, but is unnecessary if your TV has built in apps.

I really like the fire tv. It does a great job allowing you install multiple apps, the processor seems fast and responsive

We cut the cord and decided to try streaming. So far so good, used it for over 2 weeks now and no problems. We do have some hick-ups using our TV remote with it but generally we just have to go back to menu and select amazon fire tv and the on screen menu works again for DirectTV streaming service anyway. I suggest this to anyone wanting to stream. One issue though is that though this device streams 4K, your service provider might not or at least might not stream all channels or movies at 4K.

Great streaming device for Netflix, WatchESPN, and other Amazon Prime content. Best part is that you can use it for K*O*D*I

This is the best streaming player that I ever used! With amazon prime, lots of things will be free to watch! The overall quality is quite good with 4k tv! And it is fascinating!

For the cable TV cord cutter, this is the perfect solution! Provides access to virtually every network and channel you could ever want! The fire stick is easy to install. If you can insert a cord into a receptacle, then you will have no problem with this. I was skeptical at first, but realized within a few seconds after installing the product, that this was far better than cable TV. This provides access to hundreds of channels, giving you access to every genre you can imagine.

I bought this box thinking I was getting the bigger, more expensive fire tv. However, after hooking this up I was pleasantly surprised. It's quick, it's sleek, it's powerful!
