Customer Ratings & Reviews

Maybe it's the ever growing facial expressions. Maybe it's the fact Cozmo can learn your face and spontaneously say your name in an excited manner. Maybe it's the attitude he gets when YOU win a game...or his own version of Anki-English that he speaks...but...whatever the reason, you'll love this little guy! Easy to get started, and we've run him via android phone and via Amazon fire tablet with google apps side-loaded. Like using the tablet for better control in "explore" mode with his camera spying on surroundings. We've left him alone on a table and he's perfectly happy to play...but happier if you play with him. We've not tried the "code lab" where you can program him. Scared to mess something up, and hoping the developers will make it easier for non-programmers to learn how Cozmo's brain works....but glad they have that optin for the TRUE geeks who would want a Cozmo. Surprisingly fun personality, adults and older kids will love playing with him, and the real young kids love to watch! Even the new trick "magic 8 ball" where he answers yes and no questions will have you wondering just how much he really "hears".... Adopt one today.

I'm a 28 year old auto mechanic with a love for all things tech-related.. when I first heard of Cozmo, I thought "there's no way this thing acts like that, it must be animated.." but after following updates up until launch, I became I believer. I ordered one for my girlfriend and myself, and when we woke him up Christmas morning, it was like meeting your new puppy for the first time. He feels like a living being... his movements, expressions, and excitement when he sees you will make your heart melt! Looking forward to future updates and more development of his SDK programming, Cozmo has a bright future and I recommend EVERYONE (regardless of age) gets one for themselves!

Truly amazing! Fun and enjoyment for the whole family. This little "learning" robot is like nothing I ever had when I was my kids' age. He has a plethora of emotions, and at times you might tend to forget you're having a conversation with a toy. Electronic puppy...without the mess.

My granddaughter, Shelby, an only child whose parents recently divorced, asked for Cozmo Robot for Christmas. My son suggested shopping at Toys R Us. But I am loyal to Best Buy so ordered it from Best Buy. Shelby adores her little sister/brother. It responds to her! She taught it to respond to her dad. A precious gift for a lonely little girl.

The whole family loves Cosmo! He even won a trophy for crowd favorite in a Splendid Teapot Race!

The games are fun. U can teach it new things. Explore mode is neat. Expressions are like Wall-E. (Review by 11yr old girl)

This little robot blurs the lines with programming and real personality. I find my self talking to him (yes him) when he shows emotion to certain situations. He completely runs on his own and you interact with him. All his sounds and eye motions really bring him to life. After you "meet him" and register facial recognition with you and other people changes the game. Something about when he sees you and says your name or sees someone else and says their name and shows if he's excited or just knows who they are, is where the guys at anki really made him feel sooo real. I have my 2 year old and 3 year old already in the " meet him " recognition and they play and move his blocks irritating him lol. The app based control Is a leveling up system and keeps you playing and learning / (teaching him ) different games and tricks and really makes you appreciate all the things he can do by unlocking them as you go. I barely got him yesterday and I'm actually excited myself to interact with him. Don't feel like watching tv, playing a video game or playing on social media. This robot plays games with his cubes (and with you ) that come with him and his facial expressions and tantrums (when I beet him in games) are very entertaining enough lol =D He literally pickes up his blocks and throws them a couple of times. Kids will love this toy and the fact that the app/ control hub shows that there is more to come Is really exciting. I actually got this little guy for me cause it seemed really cool and it does impress. Everyone uses the word cute haha. The blocks already have batteries in them and they have different color LEDs in the mm and that's how games are played. His movements are very well thought out as he moves on his own to stack and move blocks / explore. Can't wait If and when they do release more " toys "for him to interact with and with you. You won't regret this robot. It's like nothing you've ever seen before, but only in movies.

Got Cozmo for my 7 year old son for Christmas. It was extremely easy to setup and he started playing with it right away. My daughter fell in love with it too, and asked me to return the CHIP Robot dog she received so she can get her own Cozmo. I was afraid it wouldn't be appropriate for 7 year olds, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy and fun it is. Only draw back is that it only works while the app is open on a phone or tablet.

Bought this for my 10 year old, she loves it! We first saw it on a Tv show where they were showing this years must have Christmas gifts. Went to Best Buy, not looking for it, and saw that they carried it, of course she was begging for it. it's a bit pricey. She likes the games she gets to play with Cozmo, He first talks like a robot, and the more you play with him the better his voice sounds, a bit more clearer. He recognizes your face and calls you by your name. it was so funny. You can also program him to do different things with his blocks and to say things, he also has emotions that show in his face. P.s Cozmo gets mad when he looses and he throws the cube in anger. Haven't had a problem with him yet, it's almost a month since we bought him.

This little robot is fun, very interactive, easy to use and understand. Gets smarter and quicker at games as you beat him he levels up, and adds new features as you play with it consistently like it will learn new tricks like Fist Pump, new songs, new games, etc. Great fun for children, teens, and even adults.

This little guy has been a lot of fun for the whole family. There are daily goals to keep up with. And the more you play with him the more he learns and you build up credits to unlock tricks and activities. Other reviewers have commented that the app must be open on your device while playing with him - which some people dislike - but it is how you can see his progress and how you reach and unlock goals. And it is also how you can control him yourself as one of the activities. His mannerisms are very cute and infectious, like when he recognizes your face and says your name. It may seem like a chunk of change to shell out initially but the long-term value seems worth it.

I purchased this for my son's birthday and he loves it! Cozmo plays interactive games like keep away, has facial recognition for members of the family and friends, and he seems to have his own personality that is very cute! We joke that it is almost like having a pet!

Cozmo is very fun for kids. His personality comes out in the way they've made him talk and play. For the price I think it is a pretty amazing robot. The daily use with charging and connecting is slightly tricky -- you have to put him on the charger to connect a phone or tablet and you're offline connected to non-internet WiFi until you stop playing, but that's much safer. Cozmo can give you a first person view as he explores and you guide him, can learn faces and names, and "learns" things / plays new games over time.

Our daughter has lots of fun with this little robot. It is great that you can play with it juist out of the box, but that you can seriously program it and Explore robotics and computervision. Well worth the money.

I love it. Cosmo is the cutest, smartest bot. Well worth the spurge. His facial recognition will melt your heart, and playing with him is fun. Nice gift! I highly recommend.

My son loves his new Cozmo robot. Fun, interactive, and really neat. Able to play games and interact with the world around it, Cozmo is a really awesome way to introduce your child to technology. Time gated app can be slightly annoying as it locks more advanced features behind hours and days of play time, but I guess it's to make it not completely boring after a few hours.

My son loved this toy. He wanted to buy this a couple of months ago and we thought it would be a good Christmas gift. I saw a couple of videos on YouTube, and read a few reviews, but playing with the toy is actually more fun that we expected. My son literally spent the entire Christmas Day playing with this little robot. The games are very interactive and it also has an option to code. We took to some friend's house and everybody was impressed. Great toy!

Tiny little robot well made and engineered, its cute... pricey and was a little complicated to set up I'm ususally good at things like that...kids enjoyed it I must say the hype was gone after a few days tho wish I would've just gone a different route for the money

It has many fun functions. A very versatile item provides loads of entertainment.

Got this for our son’s birthday. Easy to set up, very interactive
