this monitor is amazing! is big enough to play games and watch movies! in 1080p! and wow I never have problems with reflections even if im watching the screen in an angle it looks amazing! and the look of this screen is just mind blowing i like it and the menu is easy to use! even the software that comes with it is soo usefull so you dont have to reach the screen and press the sensors, you can just click the settings in the software that comes in a cd! and they even give you a screen cleaner! i love it!. the only thing that stop me to give 5 stars is that it has audio include but i have to admit that its ok but if you want a better experience you can just connect a pair of speakers and you are good to go!

I have reached that age where I suddenly need reading glasses for everything and was having a really hard time seeing items on my laptop screen. Hubby purchased this AOC monitor for me to use with my laptop. He originally bought me a NUC to use with the monitor but I made him return the NUC since my laptop still works fine. I am tickled pink! I can see so much better and it makes bookkeeping in Quicken so much easier when I can see the numbers! The only issue I have found is that the volume is kinda lame. I have all of the speakers turned up fully but the sound just isnt there. ( No, I'm not losing my hearing too.) The resolution is nice. The images are crisp and clear. It was definitely a good buy.

Very affordable monitor with good resolution. It's wide enough that I can open two windows side by side instead of having to use dual monitors, and still be able to read everything. It's also great for wide view like on spreadsheets.

Amazing monitor for the price. And it is huge! This monitor has fantastic resolution and the built-in speakers are nice. Make sure you have some room to push it back a ways due to its size.

Very slick looking monitor. Panel wise, it's bright, seems to have a decent viewing angle and sure is easy on the eyes. The overall look to the monitor is very classy compared to several others in the price range. Not sure how this would look next to a samsung or asus of the same size but they most likely wouldn't see in the same budget either. So far 0 dead pixels and a very nice screen. It's caused monitor jealousy at the office ;)

I was looking for a highly rated 27 inch monitor. I had went to Target and Office Depot, then tried Best Buy. Best Buy had the best selection. I wasn't sure if the AOC monitor would be my best choice. I had never heard of the brand. But 2 things did it for me. The quick check on my cell phone of its ratings, and it's packaging made mention that it won some sort of consumer award for its great design. It had a good warranty, and most importantly it was $175 reduced from its normal price. So for around $150 I made the plunge. It has not disappointed. The only negative I can say about it, is that it's internal speaker is very tinny sounding. So I just use my computer laptop speakers as the default speakers when hooked up to it, no big deal. Overall, it has exceeded expectations. Great vivid clear display.

great cost performance, good design. I connect with my small macbook, and works perfectly. now I can use huge monitor with small brain. very smooth and comfortable use. As I found the list of feature of the product, it is sort of difficult to adjust/ use buttons though, I just need to set up in the beginning. Also poor quality speakers too, I use an external better speaker so it doesn't matter if this monitor would have better speaker. my satisfaction is 5 star.

I purchased this monitor as an upgrade from a 720p television set for use with my PC and game consoles (specifically an Xbox 360). The picture over VGA from my PC is crisp and has great contrast, but I did have to make a handful of adjustments to get it to my liking. The image that comes from the Xbox via HDMI is a bit fuzzy in the operating system, but once you fire up a game, it's quite good. Particularly colorful games really seem to pop on this screen. I haven't noticed any appreciable input lag or ghosting, and it looks good even at some fairly obtuse angles. The biggest complaint I have is that there is a pretty significant bit of light leakage from the backlight on the lower left corner of the screen. It's honestly not enough to bother me, but if you're a stickler for such things, be aware that you might take issue with this. Another slight minus is the capacitive touch controls: I'm a fan of physical buttons on a device such as this. They do respond very well for what they are. Menu navigation can be a bit confusing until you get used to which button does what. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. This is a huge, colorful, and overall very usable screen, and I would certainly recommend it to the budget-conscious who desire Full HD (1080p) and a larger panel.

So easy to get started. just connect and away you go. Never had to use the down load disc at all. The colors are great It has lots of adjustments to work with. Factory setting is real good but I wanted to tweak it some. Adjustments for me started out bad but a little work and I had it set the way I liked it. Very nice and the price was what sold me on it. Son uses it for Gaming and it looks great

I work in both web and print design. Although this isn't a 1:1 match to the thunderbolt or retina displays, it provides the contrast and depth that is needed to get the job done. The color quality is quite nice. The brightness and saturation values can use improvement, but overall, it has good range and good resolution. I am happy with this purchase. For print designers, I would recommend using a calibration tool, doing proper print tests and use those color chips! The built in sound is ok - decent for light viewing. I would hook it up to speakers if you're using this as a substitute for a TV.

Don't get this for the speakers because you will be disappointed. I appreciate the size, color and not reflective coating. It is a great value for the money.

HDMI for an affordable price. Have had nothing but good experiences so far with this monitor. Large enough to view multiple windows on a single screen.

I chose this model over several competitive products based on refresh rate, color range and overall performance stats balanced by price. Since a significant part of its purpose was for gaming use, the refresh rate was important along with the color range...the price was more than I originally intended to spend but the extra few dollars is more than worth it. Setup was extremely simple from a hardware standpoint...plug and play. Software setup took a little longer but was no major task. Setup instructions are minimal, but if a technical novice can do it, anybody can. I would certainly recommend this monitor to anyone wanting a quality picture at a reasonable price.

We bought this monitor to you with a Mac laptop for a home work space. The monitor is attractive aesthetically had the HDMI input needed and was on sale. The 27 inch screen size is awesome particularly when a 15 inch laptop screen is what you are accustomed. Set up was easy plug it in and it works monitor performance is as advertised.

great monitor at a great price (at least when I got it on sale). The speakers leave a bit to be desired but for me this is not an issue as I have separate cpu speakers.

This is a really good monitor for a low price especially if you catch it on sale like i did. I am a graphic artist so i use mine mostly for work but i have watched a few digital movies on it and the picture is quite nice. The speakers are ok but would recommend external ones if you are heavy into music, movies or games. The only complaint i have is the glossy black finish. It is a fingerprint magnet. Also really easy to hook up.

I'd say this AOC monitor has done everything I'd hoped for... Wish I could say that about the new Dell or that dang HP. Anyhow, as a monitor connected to my Apple macbookPro ( I use it for music and love the larger screen ) It works great. Now if only the keyboard and mouse folks made an Apple Version.. hint, hint. PC wireless Keyboards ( and mouse combo ) with Apple... shortcuts Command vs. Control : You'll lose some keystroke shortcuts. Seeing Apple stuff is so spendy, I live with it... Did I mention I love the AOC Monitor and that it works perfect with the Apple laptop? It does :)

This monitor has an amazing image quality, a very big screen. I have it connected with HDMI the audio of my Mac goes to the monitor too, unfortunately it has a very poor speaker. But in summary this monitor worth it.

The price for this monitor was too good to pass up, and works quite well. The audio feature should not be used unless absolutely necessary, as it's very low quality. It compares okay to my Asus MX279h monitors.

I do photography as a side business. I have a $1500 monitor for my primary editing monitor, and just got this one for doing email and everything else, but I like the color and brightness on this that I often do editing on this one as well. I was able to adjust the color to match my color calibrated monitor. It has been over 3 years and it still looks good.
