This unit is perfect for what I need easy to use..

I chose this model because it fit my requirements at a reasonable price. I work from home. Power goes out a couple times a week. It's usually a quick flash but can go out for an hour+ (new home construction in the area partly to blame). I need to keep alive a laptop docking station, internet router, and two 24" monitors. After doing the math this back-ups would keep me going for a little over an hour. This covers 99% of the power outages I encounter. As a bonus I like the visual battery level indicator and the vertical form factor. My last back-ups was the flatter brick shape which didn't fit well anywhere for me. It looks good a fits neatly under my desk.

The unit I bought was a little more difficult to setup than I was expecting. I have not had a power outage or surge since I installed the unit so I can't say how it did until I have an outage or surge. It comes with software that allows one to setup criteria for how one would handle surges and outages. I had to call tech support to get help getting the software downloaded correctly. The support agent was knowledgeable and friendly. She got me operational in 10 minutes.

Was looking for a good UPS to avoid interruptions during the spring weather. This one had a good battery life and the display on the front keeps you informed on the status of the unit. Good buy.

I have two of these plus three smaller APC UPSs and they have worked remarkably well. I really like this unit because of the high wattage support and the interface with my computer. I am using one of these on my home entertainment center and one on my computer/network center. I highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Been using this UPS with a Linux computer for about a month or so now. Appears to work as it should so far. Have experienced three events just since I purchased it and handled them beautifully. I like the slim profile and love the digital display.

I would recommend this apc battery backup to anyone looking for a affordable reliable solution for there electronic devices.

Bought this to replace same model that lasted 6 years. Reminder to keep 2nd battery on hand for emergencies!

Replaced my Back-UPS 750 with this unit (Back-UPS NS 1080) as the old unit was 5 years old and showing signs of needing a battery replacement. Got new unit with advanced features, higher output, and better price than using APC's upgrade service - and Best Buy will take back the old one for proper recycling.

It was very easy to set up and use . I like that the display shows its status so ill know when it needs replaced.

I needed a new, larger UPS for my desktop, as the system has grown larger over the years. With 5 disk drives, a hefty graphics card, my monitor, cable modem, router, etc., my small UPS wasn't providing enough power for an orderly shutdown. This system does exactly that and has worked great for me.

Decent life time after power outage. Helps keep our computers up and running long enough to shut them down properly and still has plenty of life left at that point as well.

The UPS worked exactly as I hoped it would. It was easy to setup and helps to protect a Network printer and PC from power surges and short term power outages.

Excellent unit with a $30 discount made it a no brainer!! Keeps constant power to our devices with out power spikes or powering on and off. Run time is better than listed.

Bought this over a year ago. Easy to setup. Hasn't given me any problems. Has protected my computer components during several local power issues.

Overall, I am satisfied with both UPS products that I purchased. They work well in supporting my home office.

Great UPS, reliable and a lot of battery. I mainly got this to regulate voltage on my tv and gaming systems(brownouts and such). Since These don't draw much power it has almost an hour of time after the power goes out(which is nice that the LED display shows while the battery is on).

Battery back works as intended. Actually use to limit impacts on saltwater reef tank from brown out events. Protects expensive equipment from surges.

Has already saved my computer several times in Florida weather. Nice user interface (read the instructions) and my Windows 7 PC recognized it as soon as I plugged in the USB.

We are currently running a Synology NAS, Western Digital NAS, 16 port switch, and cable modem on this unit and have had several power outages since it's installation and have been up and running without a hiccup.
