A: Thank you for your inquiry. The size of the load attached to the UPS impacts the amount of runtime it can provide. With a 65 watt load attached, the BN1080G could run for 108 minutes. However, with a 325 watt load, the runtime decreases to 13 minutes.
Q: are all outlets on battery backup or are some just regular?
A: This unit has 4 outputs that are on the battery backup and 4 outlets that are only on surge protection from the power in your house. The outlets that are backed up are also on surge protection when operating on house power.

A: Thank you for your inquiry.The BN1080G contains 2 12 volt 7-7.2 amp hour batteries. It is not designed for use with an external battery bank and this not a configuration we would recommend or support.
Q: which product can I use to power my sump pump
A: This would be controlled by the amount of times your pump kicks on during that period. That would vary based upon the water table in your area and rainfall. There are DC sump pumps available that will run on a wet cell (car 12volt) battery. That would be a more efficient way to handle your requirement. The pump would always run off the battery and you would use a car battery charger to keep the battery "topped off" and to recharge it fairly quickly if you do run from the battery for a long period of time. If you are subject to frequent, extended outages you might want to consider a deep cycle, marine battery.
