Thank you for your inquiry. The BN1080G contains 2 12 volt 7-7.2 amp hour batteries. It is not designed for use with an external battery bank and this not a configuration we would recommend or support.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is running at 120 volts right now. I would not try and connect a 12 volt battery to this, but you could daisy chain more than one UPS in order to have multiple layers of backup. Of course, the goal is to have the UPS keep things running until a generator can kick in, so that is really the better solution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is made for computer use. If I read your question right: Two twelve volt, 6ah batteries in series operating a 24 volt system, No you cannot use additional outside batteries, Figure about 6 minutes if you use it like you stated before the internal batteries explode into a fireball (which may void the warranty) They make systems for motor home power to operate from deep-cycle batteries, sold at places that sell motor home stuff.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My experience with this is NO. I have tried using a gasoline generator to power the UPS during power outages and it DOES NOT WORK. I suspected that would be true because of the circuit design. (Square wave, sine wave, etc). But I proved it outage. Battery won't charge on generator and some devices won't even power on when the UPS is running from the generator. This is not an exact answer to your question. But I think my experience with a generator parallels your motorhome need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.all incoming power should go through APC before your any and all electronics component's. your dc to ac converter has to have a modified sine wave and be electronic safe rated. contact APC regarding using your vehicle's battery bank
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would do better to get a standard power inverter for that purpose.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This battery backup would not be suitable for your application as there is no way to connect your 12v coach batteries. There are inverters available to accomplish what you want.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes with a constraint. Make sure you do not exceed the power rating of the device 1080VA and it will provide you power for a limited period of time till the battery runs out. The battery in the power device is not a 12V battery. Depending on your load, the time could vary from 15 minutes to a few hours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.24 Volts
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is 1080 volt-amperes.
