• Yes and yes, but it does combine the telephone and data to one connector so you can only protect one OR the other of those. • Regarding rg6: Doesn't specify the connector type - BUT there are coaxial connectors (2) used (with surge protection) to connect a cable modem or other equipment. Regarding cat 5 or 6: Doesn't specify the specific type - BUT there are 2 telephone-type female jacks (IN and OUT with surge protection) - for connecting telephone line or Network line to connect a cable modem, etc.
