Most POE switches have built-in circuitry to protect the POE devices. If you have a power injector attached to the UPS, I would expect it to be protected as well. However, injectors, by their design, have little patience for wild power fluctuations. I can't say for sure if the protection would protect the injector. But I don't know why it couldn't/wouldn't.
