Works great as a power surge so far. Luckily I haven't had to use the battery feature thus far due to an outage but it's comforting knowing that I will be able to shut off and unplug my devices in a timely manner.

I bought this item because my old one died. I won't know how well it works until the power goes out.

UPSs' are a necessity with the power company I have. THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME!!! I purchased an APC - Back-UPS 1080VA UPS to use with my iMac as the previous UPS died a horrible death. This unit not only functions as it should but it has a display too tell you the line voltage, battery charge and the load you have placed on it. Flawless protection! Then another UPS decided to die on my Dell (desktop) and I was on another trek to get another UPS. I was fortunate to find the exact same model at Best Buy. No brainer. I have terrific protection on all of my machines.

I have bought various UPS backups for all my electronics I have bought between APC and CyberPower UPS, I prefer APC a lot more since the software included is a lot better and also the digital panel in front of the unit is a lot more useful than the CyberPower version, only advantage CyberPower has is that it has USB ports included, something that would be nice if APC had. I recommend buying any APC backup because they are very reliable and will give you no issues when something might happen such as a battery fault, great company and support provided.

I intend to get another one of these, as i have a lot of electronics and sever computers. these support upto 785 watts according to the software it comes with. I have frequent blackouts and a pretty good amount of noise where i live. and since my older APC needed a battery i decided to upgrade to this big one instead. It's saved me 6 times in the past week, and with it's currently load it estimates roughly 35 minutes of backup time. which i way better than my old one. If you need a backup unit for your electronics of any kind, i recommend this one.

This is very reliable backup. During the storm our power was out for over a day. This UPS unit gave us 10 hours to keep my DSL router running.

Have this UPS more than a year, it works great especially during the blackout.

I've used APC ups units for many years, mostly for servers. They have performed very well over the years. I especially love the led display on this unit.

For the price it does exactly what I needed. I have it for my wife's work computer. I keep her running even during short power outages. I can check it to see if all is well and I know if power is out too long it will turn her computer off.

Needed a better UPS to maintain phone land line and be able to charge cells as recent hurricane took out electric for days. Did research and found needed a stronger UPS for all equipment. This one fit the situation.

This unit has small footprint and seems to work flawlessly. Have used this brand and style for many years and they are always reliable.

I am hoping that this APC will last a bit longer than the others I have purchased in the past. I still have to correct some wiring for this to work properly. My office is in a old turn of the century home, and the wiring is also old.

We work out of our house and had a power scare. Immediately after buying this, our power flickered for 2 days straight from work they were doing. Thankfully we had this set up which kept our computers from frying!

Nice assurance that all your electrical items are protected and the battery back is provided incase of electrical failure. The LCD screen is a big plus to see the current input and output of the electrical draw as well as the load.

Was easy to setup and it works well. Set up POE and firewall on battery backup to keep phone system up during power outages.

What an amazing piece of technology here! The power went out at my home while this was plugged into the wall and it literally kept my home powered up for an additional 10 minutes all by itself! Just amazing! This device is so strong and so great that it allowed me proper time to turn off not only my PC but also my air conditioner and TV and PS4. Need I say more? Get yourself one today! Heck maybe even two!

I am using this as a line - cleaner - backup for my 50" led tv, and cable box. Most people only worry about surges ... but power under voltage is just as damaging to electronics as spikes. Is a nice feature that you can turn off the alarm, you can tell when it switches over without an alarm just fine.

This battery backup is great, it has a digital display that tells you if the unit is under/over powered. Filters noise, surge suppression/protection and battery backup in one unit. Lasts long enough to power down your gear before the electricity loss crashes it.
