After reading several articles and forum posts both here and elsewhere on the web I decided to give this UPS a go. It was the deal of the day. Plus I had a $20 certificate which made this a great buy. I knew I wanted an APC unit, the question for me was what size would work for what i wanted. Currently off the battery side of this unit I am running a modest custom desktop (amd phenom 965, ssd, mechanical sata drive, gtx 650) with a 24in LCD TV and also my xbox one with an older 37in LCD (with flourescent backlight.. more power draw). With all this equipment plugged in and powered on I pull about 396watts (out of 650) and get about 9min of runtime. With just the computer running I pull 156watts and have roughly 30min of runtime. I anticipate roughly 20min of runtime if I have the computer off and the xbox on. For me it suites my purpose. I can run both units at once for a short time and if need be shut one or the other off and carry on for a while. Unit itself came packed very well and in great condition. I liked that the factory self test results were taped to the unit to show it passed all its tests. The new lcd display is nice. It shows power usage, time remaining on battery, input watts, etc. No need to hook it up to your computer unless you want to as all the settings are configurable on the unit itself. Also nice that you can mute all the audible alerts. Solid unit at a great price!

I used this to replace an existing backup that I had. This unit has plenty of power and features to adequately supply my home computer and my cable phone system during any outage. It was simple to use and set up.

This UPS works well. It has caught several power glitches that my previous UPS would not have caught resulting in computer restarts or worse. It's a good value and an important part of my computer system integrity.

APC is a brand of battery backup/UPS systems I rely on for my home network and audio/video components. Also have LED light fixtures plugged into these devices in case of power outages. This particular unit has large capacity and an LCD panel with voltage and load data. In addition you can connect it to a PC and install software to monitor its operation.

This UPS was easy to set up, came with auto shutdown software for my PC, and worked great the first time I used it.

I bought this to keep my Tv , ps4, computer, well pretty much everything in my room protected. it looks really nice, it makes no noise at all and I love the fact I can Connect all my electronic devices in it.

Perfect backup a must have in Florida. Don't want to be in the dark.

I previously owned an APC unit so that is why I chose to go to APC again and I was not disappointed. This one is a little smaller and gives me more desk room.

We recently "cut the cable" and are saving $90/month with Free-to-Air TV. We just used our old TV antenna on its tower, installed a new HD amplifier and ran coax to the old cable entry point. With Apple TV, we will be able to utilize Netflicks or any of the other choices wirelessly from our computer, through Apple TV to our HD TV. Happy to still be saving money! Can also set up photo viewing on TV for photography clients. Easy to set up and a great deal!

I got the power! Alot more protection from electrical surges and a little more time to save in an outage. :)

I have used this brand of Uninterrupted Power Supply/Surge Protection before. I have great confidence and trust in the quality of their products, and I am glad I can purchase it at Best Buy too!

Im using this battery backup for my computer and other electronics. It does what its suppose to do. Im just hoping it will remain functional for a long time. Happy to have this piece of useful hardware.
