I built a gaming pc in a budget, but forgot to include the UPS to the list and only "remembered" after my old UPS started beeping like if it was the end of the world. Thankfully this UPS was on sale that day. The best feature is that it shows you the load percent/watts and other energy related stuff on the display screen. It also comes with a downloadable software for you to keep track of the energy consumption and power outages. Overall a great product.

It's a battery and it works. Actually purchased as a replacement for one that wore out.

This is a medium priced backup battery that is worth it weight in gold. Right after i intalled it, our power went out. This system leaped into action and provided backup power so that I could save my documents I was working on. There was no interruption in power to my CPU.

First off, APC products are among the best in the UPS market. It's next closest competitor in the consumer-level doesn't even come close (truth be told, having purchased their products in the past, I've had nothing but problems with them...especially their software). If you're looking at cost-to-performance (ie. best "bang for the buck") product, look no further than APC's Back-UPS 1080VA. I've had one for the past 18 months, with my home theater equipment connected. Having set up a computer desk for my wife right next to mine (ok, so there's actually a stand between them, to which the second unit is on the lower tier), combined with the numerous other computer-related items, I knew it was time to get another UPS...and, what better unit to get than a second of the same. I would highly suggest/recommend getting it when it's on sale...but, whatever you do, if you need a UPS, then, by all means, GET THIS ONE.

Bought to transition a server to generator backup power during outages. Has performed perfectly through several outages caused by power company construction. Several outages included spikes that damaged other electrical equipment. This unit protected the server from any high voltage damage.

This back up power supply does everything I need it to do. I really like voltage filter feature.

Iam very satisfied with my purchase, we have too much load shedding issue in my business area and this thing has helped me a lot since I've bought it, I get enough time to turn my system off and save all the data. I'm using the same back up for my home.

I have tried other UPS's and they just don't compare to APC. I have them at work and home.
