Seems to be a really good unit. However, it should be noted that this unit has not been in place for too long so far (a couple of weeks). We have had one power hiccup during that time and it took over just fine. Caught this on sale and with free shipping so it was a good deal.

If you need a UPS. APC is your folks. This is not their largest home model. But this will keep your computer and stuff running while you have time to finish things up before the power DOES go out.

Picked up to power my router and cable modem due to power outage frequency this year. It will carry my router and modem for up to 8 hours! Great price and perfect for it's application.

I purchased two of these. One is connected to my entertainment center and internet/wifi, the other is connected to my work from home computer systems. I tested the units by flipping off the breakers while someone watched the tv and computer screens. Not even a blip. The APC instantly switched to battery mode. As for battery runtime, 1 laptop, hub, 1 27" LED monitor, 2 19" LCD monitors, and a printer showed a runtime of over and hour. The other APC is connected to a 49" LED TV, DTV receiver, wifi router, and internet antenna power hub showed 39 minutes of runtime. This is plenty of time to either get your work saved, or get the generator connected to the house and fired up.

We use these in a high tech laboratory and none of them have ever failed to work. We even use them on a cart so we can move our equipment from lab to lab without losing power. Great product. The price could use some improvement, however, as this is old technology.

Purchased this for home use to power and protect my cable modem/wireless router and security camera recording system. It has reliably kept the devices powered through power blinks caused by thunderstorms. Highly recommend.

APC makes a great battery backup. This is one of many purchased over the years. It is easy to hook up, has been in service for over a month, and less expensive than a battery replacement in our old unit. Would purchase this product again.

This APC Backup has the capacity to work with a PC and Printer hooked to it.

My surround sound system continued working with no interuption.

This is my second backup supply. Well worth the money. 10 minutes after getting it home and installed the power went out. We were able to keep the Internet up and use our phones for about 6 hours befor the power returned. Well worth the money.

It’s a great UPS. I would buy it again. It gets the job done.

Most of the products I have gotten at best buy have been of very good quality

Recently purchased a new house and create a equipment room behind my theater room to keep all my network equipment & other equipment up and running. It works exactly as planned. It's a really good product and would by another again if needed.
