A must for every desk top computer and printer copier.

we use this at an office to keep our modem, router, and 2 switches online in case of power failure. it works great and lasts a good while, would also work well for a small business server or workstation

APC products are as great as ever - I am very pleased

I have been using APC products as long as I have owned a computer. Prior to us building a house with a standby generator, we lived in a home that was the victim of numderous power outages over the years. The APC model backups always provide sufficient reserve power to avoid having me "lose " whatever project I was working with. The ability to also protect my equipment in the event of a power surge gave me peace of mind. Even with a generator, you will experience a very brief period of downtime in which you could lose what ever data you are in the middle of working on. Therefore I have purchased a newer generation of the Backup battery rather than just updating the battery in the older unit. This should provide more protection for the long term.

I have UPS's on all tv's and electronics. In one week I have 46 events (loss of power) it would just fry stuff if I did not have it. Also the events most of the time are at night when I'm asleep.

Over the years have purchased 8 of these units. In power failures or brown outs they have performed well. Not very exciting, but a lot less excitement than not having it when it is needed!!!!

This has saved me a few times so far with AVR and UPS due to issues with power in my Florida home office. The system is more than enough to handle my rack mount server with 7 hard drives. My only issue is the home management software is not working in Windows Server 2012 R2. I tried the professional software and that is not working.

We use these APC 1080VA battery backups for all of our high end pc's. They can handle surges and provide plenty of time for a soft shutdown if power will be out for an extended period.

this thing works, although i haven't properly tested it yet because i haven't lost power. it is an attractive piece of design too.

Works like a UPS should. Still had to use a power strip for all my accessories. The real test is how long it will last! Best Buy should ask us to give another review every anniversary year.

I like the display on this UPS. When the power goes off, it displays how much power is left in the UPS. Nice feature. The UPS has worked for multiple power outages. Good unit.

I have my desktop, monitor, printer, wireless router and TV hooked up to this UPS. In Florida we get very short power outages and this UPS letsd me continue with all I am doing

I expanded my PC collection and wanted to have a new UPS for the new PC. This is the right size for what I needed. Seems to be fully functional. Have not had an problems with it so far.

Protects your electronics from power surges and will keep them working for a lil while after the power goes out (god for emergency radios or burglar alarms). Use one of these for all my installations.

This is a good UPS back up. I bought this model because the BX1000G had been discontinued. It is identical to the older model. Used the older model to back up a cable modem & wireless router. Use this back up for a AMD quad core and a monitor. APC is a good name brand.

Best Buy did a good job getting the APC UPS back-up to my store for pick up. I am using the UPS to supply clean power to my desktop computer and some of the peripherals like the network modem and computer monitor. the NS1080 has 8-120 VAC outlets 3 of the outlets are battery protected. If I have a criticism of the manufacturer. it would be the problem with the web site when I went to register the product. However, the NS1080 is very robust, well manufactured and overall a pleasure to own and operate.

I have about 20 of these at different sites and have not had any issues. I use them for routers and switches and they will last a couple of hours when we lose power.
