A little expensive compared with other brands but it do the job.

I have a small business and small server and needed a reliable battery back-up for it and this does a great job.

This is a good UPS for a small server or more powerful engineering workstation. Most servers get 20 minutes of uptime which is sufficient for getting a server powered down. The downside is it doesn't come with compatible software for server operating systems. There are 3rd party programs you can use to get around this shortcoming. The cost of these programs is less than the "big brother" of this UPS which comes with "Business" level integration software.

This is a great product!!! Now I don't have to worry if the power goes out, I am automatically backed up!!!

I always use APC in my offices, I have tried the other brands but these last longer and more reliable.

Simply the best UPS for the price. The info panel gives you easy access to the power consumption and estimated run time.

I have purchased numerous of these. I have them installed on all the computers in several of our offices.

2 batteries give this UPS extra capacity over most other units. You can plug a computer into the main backup outlet and a display into a specially-marked outlet and when the computer shuts down the display power will be cut. When the computer is powered up the display will also be powered up automatically. You can also use this feature to power a TV with the main outlet and a sound system on the dependent outlets (there are 2). Then you use the TV remote to turn off the TV and the sound system also goes off. I also like being able to monitor the total watts consumed by all devices plugged into the unit on the front panel display. If it were sinusoidal output I would have given 5 stars.

Good quality UPS. Regulates voltage, unlike cheaper units.

Our IT guy recommended this product to protect our computers in case of a power outage. So far, it's been a great purchase

I have been using these for a small office server. They are reliable and I have never had an issue with them.

I replaced a 5 year old APC backup that worked great. Stayed with APC because of my passed experience.

This is a good solid unit. This is a replacement for one that was destroyed in our house fire.

The APC Back-UPS NS 1080 was easy to set up, easy to connect to my PC, and has worked perfectly since installing it.

Love the security of knowing my important electronics are safe from surges & power outages. Works great.

We live in the country where our power goes out often, this battery back up really has helped our electronics from receiving surges. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a battery back up.

It's not the biggest battery that would endure for long hours, but it should be good enough to help you observe problems and make timely decisions. And the price is decent. I actually got a price match ;)

Worked out of the box, only time will tell if it last.
