So far I have had 8 power outages and no loss of data or down time for the items listed. The UPS takes over immediately and there is no interruption of service. In addition it acts as a buffer to regulate the incoming voltage to reduce my power usage. A great item at a great price.

A Must Have!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.with all the power surges going on in life these days, this is something that has saved me more and more. recently we had a major issue down the street, some one took out a power pole, which sent major surges. thank goodness i had a APC hooked up at home, as most of the people in my buildings computers were fried... i just had to replace my APC... it's a lifesaver...
