Simple and easy to install, has enough power for phone system and server

I purchased this battery backup for my home router and computer equipment. I was impressed with the ease of installation bu this unit is a bit heavy so it works best on a secure shelf or on the floor. The case is mostly plastic as opposed to the older APC units which I am replacing that has a metal case. This unit performs as described. I mostly purchased it because it is more energy efficient "green" compared with the older battery backup units. I am interested to see when the Li-Ion Battery backups will be readily available on the market. It should cut weight and improve run time greatly.

I am a long time APC user. I miss the days of solid steel cases but I suppose even APC has to go plastic too. Oh well. The unit performs as expected has line monitoring, etc. My one complaint is that like everyone, they never account for the absurd size of today's transformers. It makes it a pain to try to connect everything and have room. Otherwise I am happy.

My old backup died so this was a good replacement and it was on sale.

I own about 4 UPSes because we always have power outages or brownouts and I will not leave my computers or TV and equipment susceptible to damage from them. This works great, especially love that I do not need software to keep the beep from occurring, as my dogs go nuts when they hear it. I just set if from the UPS itself so it won't beep in case I am not home.

The UPS was reasonably priced, and works exactly as it should.

Quick set up and took little time to get back up and running again! I purchased as a replacement for an APC unit similar to this one. Seems like they last just beyond the end of the warranty (3 years) - and then you need to either replace the battery or purchase a whole new unit. This time I chose to replace the unit - since it seemed more cost effective for about $30 or more.

Battery lasts for a while and it looks good. What else can I ask?
