However it looks good and everything and I never had a complint about the APC brand. So I'm going to type a few more words and be done with this review.

It could not handle the power of my computer. I did not return it but was unhappy with the product. No I use to power my internet router and modem. Thank god it was onsale.

not easy to setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was told by tech support if you have a laser printer you could not use it on battery backup. too much draw. also when the power goes out the computer will run only a short time on battery nowhere near what it is supposed to. also the monitor flips off when there is a short outage and it is plugged into the battery backup receptacles. will not do at all what it says it will. would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With the weather being very unpredictable in the state of Florida, I had to invest in a USP. After buying the unit and using it for more than 2 years, I must say that APC knows what they're doing. The UPS saved the frustration of multiple blackout erasing the data on my computer, and having myself to retype lost documents. The unit is so good, that even when someone is using the vacuum cleaner and hogging the power, the unit will go into battery mode as a precaution from electrical noise. When the power unexpectedly goes out, I like to lower my monitor brightness to the lowest possible setting and set my desktop to power saving mode to extend the battery on the UPS. This gives myself a total of 50 to 60 minutes of battery backup, depending on what I am doing. I also really enjoy the LCD screen, as I can monitor my wattage, run time and input voltage. If I ever need another UPS, I would most definitely be buying this unit or something similar from APC again.
