The is just the right size and the right price to protect stereo or computer equipment during a short power outage.

Easy to install and set up. I had no problem with TW in switching from their modem. So far it is working well.

Installed and worked right out of the box. Easy to setup and then forget it. It's humming along under the desk.

I have used APC for over 20 years and they have never let me down. This UPS replaced a 8 year old APC 800 unit that had finally died for the first time. New unit about as cheap as replacement battery on the 800. I am running a 750 Watt PC, 24" LED monitor, speakers, (2) external backup drives, wireless headphones, weather station, and police scanner. The unit has been put into service twice due to power failures. Both times it kept my systems running for 35 minutes. The power came back on before the battery completely drained. The LCD display showed 10 more minutes left when the power came back on..

My 5-year old 1500va APC was dead and I needed a new backup for my home network's broadband modem and router. This 1080va was on sale for almost $100 less than the 1500va model and I didn't see the need to spend another $100 just to provide extended runtime for my modem, router, and PC. Our neighborhood has had 3 power outages in the last three months due to severe weather and so far this unit has performed as expected during the three outages (the longest one lasted a couple of hours).

It was easy to set up. I was able to see where each device should be plugged in to get the best protection.

We bought this as a deal of the day to protect our TV and stereo equipment from surges and low voltage and it is perfect for this and well worth the price. We have several of these where I work and they safely shut down our computers when the power goes out. Great product

It handles my monster gaming PC with no issues. The other UPS sold by Best Buy could not.

Easy to get hooked up & working just fine. Wouldn't want any other product for my backup power source.

APC back up has plenty of reserve power and the display makes it easy to see how it is performing.

I purchased this APC to replace a back up power supply that had lost its ability to re charge. The unit works great in that capacity and has also reduced the stress on the server by regulating the power flow and eliminating the ups and downs we sometimes receive in an industrial park.

Can't get any better than this. Display and overall design is very attractive and easy to use.

Good solid case and narrow profile. I'm actually using this on my DVR so we don't miss our shows. For this application some outlets on the side of the device would make installation easier.
