I recently purchased the Apple AirPods Max and I have been absolutely blown away by their performance. These headphones are truly a game changer and have exceeded my expectations in every way. First of all, the design of the AirPods Max is sleek and modern, just like all Apple products. The ear cushions are incredibly comfortable and provide a great seal, making them perfect for long listening sessions. The headband is also very well-padded and distributes the weight of the headphones evenly, making them comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The sound quality of the AirPods Max is truly exceptional. The dynamic range is impressive and the bass is deep and punchy without overpowering the mids and highs. The soundstage is also wide and immersive, making it feel like you are right in the middle of the music. I have listened to a variety of genres and the AirPods Max perform exceptionally well with each one. One of the standout features of the AirPods Max is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). It does an incredible job of blocking out external noise and allows you to fully immerse yourself in your music. The Transparency mode is also a great addition, allowing you to hear your surroundings without having to take off the headphones. Another great feature is the spatial audio, which gives the sensation of a surround sound experience. This is perfect for watching movies or TV shows on your Apple devices. The headphones use gyroscopes and accelerometers to track your head movements and adjust the audio accordingly, making it feel like the sound is coming from all around you. Before saying anything in this review, I want to say up front, I would recommend these headphones, but only if you are aware of all the compromises and issues that they entail. If you are aware and careful, then they should be excellent headphones for a while. This pair I bought was actually a replacement for a previous pair I bought a couple months after the AirPods Max were released. That initial pair broke because of what I know understand to be an issue with the ribbon cable breaking from the cups turning too much. The problem is the cups are next to impossible not to turn if you use the included smart case and they only go into ultra low power mode in the smart case. Some other nitpicks are another well known issue - the condensation issue. Because the AirPods Max use metal for their ear cups without any ventilation, the ear cups will build up condensation after any listening sessions beyond 2-3 hours (depending on the temperature outside and if you are being active). These headphones are not meant to be used to workout, despite me visually seeing many people trying. They are not water resistant and will eventually die. Despite ALL this, they are actually excellent headphones. The noise cancellation is fantastic and the transparency mode is equally as fantastic. The sound quality is amazing. It has some nice punch to the low end without being overbearing. Apple's adaptive eq does a great job at keeping consistent sounds at different volumes. One unexpected area where the AirPods Max are incredible is when using with an Apple device to watch movies or tv shows - especially if the show/movie supports Dolby Atmos. When I use my AirPods Max on my Apple TV, the spatial dolby atmos is incredible and feels shockingly close to being in an actual theater - all while keeping the sound to myself and not bothering my neighbors late at night. The battery life is surprisingly good considering they never actually turn off and only utilize sleep modes to power save. The comfort is fairly solid too. Despite the weight, they actually have a nice comfort on your head with the way they are designed. The headband with the steel to adjust the length feels premium and durable. The headband maintained comfort even after using mine for around 4 years. The earcups are easy to pop off and replace if you have any issues or just to dust/clean off. I need to clarify I essentially use my AirPods Max mostly with Apple devices in wireless mode. I do use it with my PC or my PS5 for gaming, but I use the wired mode with the aux to lightning adapter. While it's functional, Apple needs to create a significantly better version of this cable. If you are seriously using it for any type of music production or gaming, you want it to be wired for ultra low latency. If you just use the adapter cable, it's comically short and thin. While mine hasn't broken, it is very short. My only solution has been to get an aux extension cable to pair with it, but it does slightly affect the sound quality. It shouldn't be necessary to create these solutions. To break it all down, these are incredible headphones if you are an Apple user. They sound amazing, have incredible noise cancellation/transparency modes, and fantastic Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio support for watching movies/tv. That being said, anyone purchasing these who intends to have these work for any reasonable time needs to know - If you use these frequently with the smartcase, it will possibly break the ribbon cable connecting the earcups - this happened to the pair I bought and has happened to other individuals online with these headphones. I recommend a charging stand that avoids any earcup turning or a regular stand (this will drain battery slightly quicker) - No working out with these headphones - If you feel the headphones getting sweaty, take them off and wipe the condensation out with a dry towel of some sort. - They are a bit heavy, no getting around that - The aux adapter cable is not included and is comically short - Built with premium materials, but a flawed design that needs to be treated with care and understood where the product fails.

The Smart Case, although controversial due to its unconventional design, is functional and puts the headphones in an ultra-low power state to preserve battery life when not in use. The AirPods Max does come with a higher price tag compared to other premium headphones, which may be a consideration for some buyers. However, the combination of exceptional sound quality, top-notch ANC, luxurious design, and seamless integration with Apple devices makes it a worthwhile investment for audio enthusiasts and Apple aficionados. I absolutely LOVE these headphones, they’re by far the best overear headphones you can buy-especially if you own/use them with an Apple device. They’re absolutely top quality headphones that any audiophile would love and appreciate, and they’re also absolutely gorgeous and beautifully designed, as all Apple products are. I love the range of colors available as well. One of the biggest, most stand out features of these aside from the excellent sound quality is their exceptional noise cancellation. These have THE best noise cancellation of any headphone on the market, regardless of price. No matter how loud and busy the world around you is, once you turn on noise canceling, it completely shuts the world out and lets you enjoy perfect silence or allows you to listen to your music or watch videos/movies without any background noise affecting and disturbing you. I also like the controls on the headphones themselves, as it’s very simple and intuitive. There’s a dedicated button just for the noise canceling and transparency modes as well as a small dial similar to what’s on Apple Watches that controls volume as well as play/pause, skip/next track and previous track, and also allows you to summon Siri as well as answer or decline and end calls (you also can do all call and text functions by voice, as well as Siri reading out incoming texts to you) these headphones also work with Apples spatial audio and head tracking, which can be turned on/off any time, but it unfortunately is a feature only available when used with an Apple device, and one other cool feature only available with Apple devices is the Find My feature, which allows you to be able to always see where your headphones are on a map in the event you lose them, so it helps make sure you’re never going to lose these and always be able to find them, which is an awesome feature. The final Apple exclusive feature is the way that it connects to your device; you just place your device near the headphones and it automatically pops up on there and connects, making it extremely simple, easy, and fast. It also never ever loses its connection ever, regardless of how long you use them. But it’s just as simple and easy to connect to non Apple devices as any other Bluetooth headphone; you just turn on Bluetooth and hold down a button on the headphones to put it in pairing mode and then connect it to your device and its paired. The battery life on these are excellent as well, lasting for up to ~25 hours on a full charge when using full noise cancellation and near full volume. They’re also very comfortable to wear, with nice soft earcups made from comfy memory foam material and an extra soft headband with thin mesh material inside it to allow full airflow and prevents any sort of sweating like a leather headband would. Best Buy also offers 3 month trials of Apple Music/TV/News whenever you buy these, which is an awesome added bonus. They also have the cheapest price on these and often times will have them on sale for even cheaper-so if you see them and they’re on sale I highly suggest buying them before that sale ends! But in the unlikely event you find these for cheaper at another store or website, Best Buy will price match them-even if you’ve already bought them and then later notice they’re cheaper somewhere else, which is what I did when I bought these. I noticed a week later they were $40 cheaper on Amazon and I provided the proof to a team member on an online chat and they immediately adjusted my price for these to match that sale price. It was really cool how they did that for me and made my overall experience with buying these even better than it already was.

I recently purchased the Apple AirPods Max from Best Buy, and I’ve been using them daily for a variety of tasks including listening to music, attending online meetings, and occasionally watching movies. What impressed me the most is the sound quality. The audio is crisp, clear, and well-balanced, making every genre of music a pleasure to listen to. The noise cancellation feature is top-notch, effectively blocking out background noise and allowing me to focus on my tasks. Likes: 1. Love the color of these! Sound cancellation ability is top-notch. Well worth the money, the competitors honestly do not match up. I have tried five other brands and this was the best by far. They stay on when working out as well which was a big box I needed checked! Battery life is another plus. My son likes to listen to ebooks with them!

The best, most comfortable head phones I have ever had. Beautiful color, sound is incredible. Doesn't fall off when I'm running. The noise canceling is amazing. Connects to anything super fast, and pauses whatever you are listening to when you take them off, and resumes when you put them back on.

I love the look and feel of these headphones. I have so many Apple products, and they never disappoint. The design on these headphones is amazing. The noise cancellation is one of my favorite things. I like how I can easily turn it off with the button on the side. The quality of sound is also great and I would definitely compare it equally to others on the market. The mesh material is also comfortable on my head which is something that’s very important to me as other headphones have given me headaches in the past. The material is also easy to clean which is great if you use these headphones during a workout.

These headphones work great! I have always had issues with finding headphones that are comfortable to wear and easy to adjust, and these are it! Connecting them to my iphone was basically effortless, and I was able to try them out immediately. Noise cancelation works wonders for my focus and the sound quality is top tier. In terms of getting what you pay for, these headphones are sleek and work amazing.

These are my new favorite headphones! They are so comfortable and I love the sound quality on them. Also, the noise cancelation is just on a whole other level. Wearing them on a flight was perfect for drowning out the engine and the crying babies. Also I used the headphones for an entire 6-hour flight plus the ride to the airport for what must have been about a 9-hour total and still had 75% battery left by the time I landed. Major W! The major downside is of course the steep price tag, but I think it was well worth every penny!

Initially, I was put off by the price. However, within an hour of putting these on my head, I didn’t want to ever take them off. I’m pretty sure if I leave them on in the shower it won’t be covered by AppleCare. The sound is epic. They’re pretty comfortable on my giant noggin and elephant ears. Unlike those I’ve had previously the Apple specific features like directional sound are pretty dadgum cool. The noise canceling works better than any I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve tested dozens of noise canceling headsets over the years. The ease of use is right up there against all Apple products with crown is easy to adjust for volume and command, and the other button can be conveniently assigned all in all I really don’t wanna take these off and still I must go take a shower. Wish me luck.

i am in love with my airpod maxes. i’m coming from beats solo3 and i find these way more comfortable on the top of my head and on my ears. the netting on the top makes it so that the headphones don’t hang heavily on your head. the comfort is perfect for long drives or flights. my two cons to these are that they don’t fit comfortably with eyeglasses. they kind of make the legs of my glasses squeeze into the sides of my temple and hurt a bit. i end up taking my eyeglasses off most times. secondly, the noise cancellation works excellent for a space like a plane, a slightly bustling noisy room, but when directly next to loud people, you need to really put your volume up to fully drown them out which isn’t always ideal, because i can get headaches from music being too loud. aside from those two points, these headphones are a dream. i was able to get a free trial of apple music (along with other things) with my purchase and the dolby atmos in apple music with these headphones is incredible. the quality of sound is absolutely unmatched.

They connect to my iPad, Macbook, and iPhone seamlessly. The noise cancellation is intense but I like it when I'm listening to music and don't want to hear the world around me. The battery lasts for a long time, I believe just about 1 1/2 days in between charges. I am said I cant use them to game with, that would be awesome but it's totally okay, I can deal with that.

I love these headphones. They sound good and the transparency mode is out of this world. Also the ACN is very good and the connectivity between my apple devices are a nice convenience. I just don't think they're worth $500 which is why i’m really debating on returning them. I’m sad but I literally cannot justify this purchase. The bass is alright. I didn’t think I would care much about the bass since I was going to use them for studying, but when I put my AirPod Pros on, the pros beat the bass by 100x. The maxs should have been, at most, $400. I will probably repurchase the second gen when it comes out. I still am not 100% sure on the return but its very likely it will happen.

The Apple air pods pro Max are indeed amazing with its sounds to its design. I have little one so sometimes having the noise concealer really helps when I’m concentrating on a video(tutorial) or just want to escape(spouse supervision is there). I only gave it a 4 star because they are a bit on the heavy side so when I bend over they do tend to slip off a bit. Other then that I do recommend this product! I also bought a protective case to cover all over because I I also use them to work out so I don’t want sweat to absorb onto the ear cushions.

Love these so much! Noise canceling is great. They make cleaning my house go by so much faster!! Love this product. Battery literally lasted over a week before I had to charge them. They connect great to apple products. You can also use them with non apple products! I use with my Samsung tablet and Roku smart tv.

My headphones are the best ! They fit my ears very good! I really don’t get migraines for them ! The noise cancellation is perfect noises area.

Available super quick and you are able to add warranty on top! Easy pick up and good noise cancelling feature, not too heavy on the head. Used it on a 15 hour flight and still had lots of battery left.
