Shipped me one not refurbished by Geek Squad

I was surprised when the box was sticky, dirty, and has masking tape in it. When unboxed I noticed that the lightning cable was missing. The condition of the headphones seemed decent (only two very small scratches) at first glance. When I went to pair it to my phone it showed that they were still paired to the previous owner’s Apple ID!!! Not only that, but their name was etched into the headphones. Shocking and certainly not the kind of quality control that I would expect from a device that was certified to be refurbished by Geek Squad.
