I am replacing an older Time Capsule and so far this has been great - it does well for high speed internet and gives us peace of mind by doing automatic backups. The fact that it is refurbished has not been a problem thus far.

This is a great wireless router that doubles to backup everything wirelessly to its 3TB hard drive.

I got this refurbished router for and excellent price. It arrived in great shape, was easy to set up and has worked great since then.

I've used netgear n linksys routers in past this was my first apple router. Pros Configuration was easy Internal hard drive was fast Features to format harddrive were good(7 pass ,35 pass secure delete) Time backups were easy on my mac Cons brother wireless printer mfc2700 got configured, but did not work even once wirelessly The wifi range at this price is much less than competition The SSID broadcast can be disabled but has some other quirks and limitations Every setting update causes the network to go down The shared hard drive is inaccessible via mobile devices, so you can't dump files from iPhone, iPad without a hack I think for this price I expected much more

The tower is fantastic for backing up from multiple computers, including both of our MacBooks and our PC. The router is great when used behind the Comcast router as it adds a layer of firewall protection. Outstanding.

My strategy is if the refurbished ate got problem, i should find it within 90 days the return available period, and I have used it several months. And it is good without problem. And compare with new one I saved the money

I added this with two more airports to make a solid high speed wifi mesh network in my house. I don't think Apple gets enough credit for how easy it is to configure their devices from a Mac or iOS device.

The product is good, and the price also good. The only one problem is no guide book

It backups automatically and 3TB is way more than I even need. Having wifi capability is a bonus. You won't be disappointed.

Had the item for 4 weeks and it has stopped working Purchased it in order to have reliable non stop back ups available by wifi in my home. The screen where I purchased bragged about the wonderful geek squad refurbished guarantee. Yet When it failed all they said was they would send to manufacturer for repair and left me with no back up protection for 5-10 days minimum. Recommended me to apple Been here waitin for 1.5 and they are not giving service worth a darn either Their should be a line for my product just ended warranty and it quit In Georgia. I brought this Geek Squad® Certified Refurbished and so far no issue and it work great.

I only use it for storage, but it was eeazy-breezy to set-up

I have a mac ecosystem and just wanted one device to backup all the computers at the house. This was it. Didn't find any all in one packages that compare.

this is another great apple product that works flawlessly. Reviews said easy to set up but its not . I had to get on the phone with apple . without them I would have never got it set up.

This item did not work when it arrived. I spent 1-1/2 hours trying to get help from the Geek Squad, btw, how can you be a geek if you do not know anything about the product? I talked with 13 people before finally giving up and demanded a call ticket to be sent so that I can return this item for a refund. I will try eBay, I have had better luck with used items.

This Time Capsule seems to upload the web pages I visit alot slower than my AT&T U-Verse provided "N" Speed Wireless Router/Modem. What seems intersting to me, is that when I test the Download and Upload connection speeds on SpeedTest.net, i get High Results. But when it comes down to actually browsing the Internet, I noticed that when using the time capsule network that I created with the help of an Apple Support representative, the sites seem to get stuck in Limbo and do not upload all the images according or effeciently like I would have expected. Isn't this supposed to be an "AC" speed wireless router? Well that probably why the 1st person returned it and it is no considered a Refurbished item. To top it all off, when when I receive the item in the mail, there was no password provided to me, so I couldn't even access the time capsule and after i reset it to factory settings, I came to find out that they didnt even remove the previous Owner's personal information from the Hard Drive.
