I was skeptical about not having a home button, and that there’s no fingerprint sensor. But the face recognition and subtle swipe gestures are second nature after only a week with the phone. The battery lasts much longer, and is a Max, but somehow fits better in my palm.

Takes Stunning Pictures with it’s 12 MP Camera and has such an amazing OLED Screen perfect for streaming video. Also has some phenomenal speakers for music. With the A12 Bionic Chip its much faster than the iPhone X, with a bigger battery. Battery life is a lot longer.

This is my second IPhone and I like this one better than the first. It is so much faster and it takes great pictures. I love the bigger screen and size. Only challenge is you have to get use to closing out the screens It is a swipe motion vs pressing a button.

For me this was a legitimate upgrade coming from the 6s Plus. The camera and battery life are the most impressive. before applying batt life saving tips from the net the phone would last the full length of the day while playing games sporadically and constant use of texting, emails, and trips to social medias. Now, with the batt saving tips the phone lasts all day and all night until I plug it in to go to sleep. recommend getting a case and screen protector ASAP. amazing technology but would not be worth the investment if upgrading from previous gen.

I’m very impressed with Xs Max. The notch was something i thought about when upgrading from the 7 Plus but I have to say I’m used to it now. Also the swipe gestures and being without the home button I’m used to. It feels very natural now. The OLED screen is fantastic and the size is perfect. The battery life is improved too. I use it all day moderately and it’s still at least 50% left at night. A Very powerful and snappy phone. I only really have one negative about the phone and it’s small. I liked seeing the battery percentage always in sight but now you have to scroll down on the right to see it. Other than that small complaint. It’s a perfect phone.

Screen is large and clear. The face of works great. The speakers are loud and the phone is very fast. Just another great iPhone produced by apple. If android is your choice that’s fine but I have never had an issue with apple products.

Wow, this iPhone is over the top, I've just started to learn all that it can do. Pictures are excellent, Love the Face Recognition, so easy to use especially for use with the wallet app. I'm a dedicated Apple user. Thanks Apple.

Amazing upgrade from the older iPhones! The processor is fast, the cameras take wonderful pictures and the large screen brings the pictures to life! The phone is somewhat hefty as is the price. Overall, I'm enjoying this new phone.

Great resolution. Great camera. Still getting adjusted to having an iPhone again, it has been about 5 years. The no home button is hard to get used to but I’m getting it. I love the size. Videos are so crisp. Awesome phone really.

I upgraded from the iPhone x and it was well worth it. Fastest chip so far and awesome clarity on the screen. Any bigger and it would be awkward to hold. perfect phone. IOS 12 still a little bit buggy but in time will be great too.

I finally decided to upgrade from my old iPhone 6S Plus. None of the new phones after that jumped out at me enough to upgrade, then the XS Max came out and I was sold. Took me a little while to take the leap but I’m glad I did. The phone does a ton of cool things. Too many to list, but what I like best is the quality of my pictures. Absolutely amazing. I also love that I can unlock my phone just by looking at it. No more fingerprint (which was easier than a manual passcode) but could still be a pain. This phone is a great size in width & length, and not thick at all. If you’re not into bigger phones they offer this one in a smaller size which is a great option. So far I haven’t found anything that I don’t like about it. I love it!

My wife is really enjoying her new iPhone XS Max. Super fast, no more lag or waiting for apps to load. Cameras work great and the pictures look amazing on the large screen! The phone is somewhat heavy but was expected.

I absolutely love this phone!! I wanted to get back to my plus size and this did it for me. Will never go back to a regular phone. Speed is great along with battery life. The camera is WONDERFUL!!! Definitely recommend.

After having Samsung and android pretty much my whole life i recently witch from my galaxy s8 to a iphone 6s plus some might see that as a downgrade but honestly the 6s plus is the phone that changed my mind about apple phones and the XS MAX definitely was the right choice for me over the note 9 if the XS MAX had a smart stylus it would be perfect one thing still trying to get use to is no longer having a fingerprint scanner instead facial recognition aside from being in total darkness it works every time and quick. the camera quality is amazing awesome resolution and i never thought a phone with a 6.5in display would fit and feel so comfortable the phones screen to edge ration gives me the large display i wanted but without the overall size being to big and is all around just a beautiful phone that when picked up for the first time you can instantly feel the quality very pleased with best buys level of customer service as well very helpful and friendly.

This was a great purchase. I don’t regret it. I love the size. It’s easy to use and see. The camera takes great pictures! I highly recommend it! I shouldn’t have waited so long to upgrade to this phone!

It’s a beautiful phone, pity I have to cover it up with a case. But aside from that I am enjoying it. The face recognition is excellent, speed is amazing and of course the camera is fabulous.

I like the phone because it’s easy to navigate and it runs very smoothly. You can play games on it with no problems. The screen looks nice and the camera is very good.

The iPhone XS Max is a wonderful device that works brilliantly with Apple's ecosystem and tightly managed operating system. The camera works as advertised, the screen is beautiful, and the battery life exceeds my expectations for a phone that is used as heavily as I use mine (for both work and personal usage). The only downside at all is the skyrocketing prices that are now associated with flagship devices across the board. While this isn't an Apple specific issue, it does warrant a second thought before deciding to spend over 1,000$ for a smartphone.

Love this phone, it seems to be faster, user friendly, and easy to use. Like the improved camera. I am still trying to get acclimated to the home button being gone but that is not a problem.

So you’ve gotten older, you can’t see up close. At this point in your life, unless you’re still supporting an adult or paying to keep your grandkids alive, spend the money and get the iPhone XS Max. It’s bigger, better, has a great camera and opens up by you just looking at it. We got the 256gb for all those photos and videos, not to mention all the apps. Not only are the cameras awesome but you can do all kinds of cool stuff with your photos. The XR might be a less expensive alternative since the cameras are the same, but the picture quality isn’t quite as good. If you get one from Best Buy like we did, be sure to get the glass type lifetime screen saver.
