[Employee of bestbuy] This MacBook Pro is most definitely the best investment I've ever made. Coming from an old acer laptop with 8gb ram and a slow i3, this is night and day. Build quality is phenomenal, screen resolution is beautiful (especially in the dark), speakers surprisingly sound really great, and it runs like an absolute beast. I don't even have to worry about having more than 3 tabs/apps open at once now, I can have as many apps open as I want and the M4 Pro chip will just eat it up like it's nothing. Everything from streaming, photo/video editing, School, Work, researching, shopping, listening to music, even gaming is absolutely seamless with this MacBook Pro. Also there are so many cool apps that I can use to make my Mac even easier to use and customizable to my liking, so the software capabilities on this laptop are amazing as well. And the battery lasts me 10+ hrs so I rarely have to even worry about charging it, and I can literally take it with me anywhere--from school, to work, to maybe a coffee shop, I can use it on my bed, my desk, my couch, outside, pretty much anywhere I can take this thing and use it because it's that portable. It also fits into my apple ecosystem perfectly, I can sync things like photos, texts, emails, different accounts throughout my iCloud, and I can even mirror my iPhone to my Mac so I don't have to grab my phone from far away. I've owned this laptop for around 3 months now, and I can say by far it is certainly the best investment I've ever made. Apple really paid attention to detail when making this laptop, and it is worth every penny.

Overall, this MacBook has been amazing. It’s fast, smooth, and I haven’t run into any bugs or weird issues. Battery life is excellent too. Coming from my old 2012 ASUS, this thing feels like an absolute rocket. Switching from Windows took a bit of getting used to, mostly the controls and the overall workflow, but after a short adjustment it’s totally fine. For gaming, I play Dota 2 on it and it runs pretty well. Counter-Strike, unfortunately, isn’t really playable on Mac (at least not the way I’d want), but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. For work, it’s basically perfect, and I’m confident it’ll handle everything I need for years. My wife had a 2021 MacBook Air (M1) and that one feels tiny compared to this MacBook Pro (M4), but that’s just a small detail. Overall, this laptop feels built to last. I genuinely think it can easily go strong for 10 years without breaking a sweat.

Yep. The real deal. I have only had the Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch with the Apple M4 Pro chip, 24GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD in Space Black for a day, but I’ve run it through the paces, and of course, it’s fabulous! I didn’t opt for the Nano Texture screen, but I probably should have just for the glory. The laptop is amazing; it runs everything so smoothly and, frankly, is beautiful in the Space Black chassis. I haven’t used the Thunderbolt 5 port yet, but the SD card slot is a game changer. The 14-inch is the perfect size to throw in a bag and travel to the cafe. I used some of the Apple Intelligence features, and I must say, wow! It's an excellent time to own a Mac; so much is good now. I love this device and recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful device with great portability.

The 24GB of ram allows me to run Lightroom, Photoshop, and other apps simultaneously without slowdowns, while export times are significantly quicker, saving a ton of time when delivering galleries. The color accurate display helps ensure edits look right the first time, and the strong battery life makes it reliable even during long editing sessions away from home. Overall, it streamlines the entire process, letting me focus more on editing and less on waiting. Also I love the space black color.

For my previous job as a software engineer, I had used the M1 Macbook Pro and I was impressed by the overall build quality and power efficiency. This new model I have bought for personal use is a huge step up from that. Despite having the ‘minimum’ RAM for the M4 Pro chip configuration, it is more than enough to handle my need. The 1TB SSD space also gives me peace of mind for using lots of data and assets for any software development I intend to do on this machine. Regarding screen size, if you feel doubtful about screen size, go for the 16 inch model. The 14 inch model is perfect for me because I prefer a workflow not dependent on space (i.e. small cafe table or on the plane). However, if that is not a dealbreaker, the 16 inch model is better to comfortably open multiple windows of code with split screen. Personally, the 14 inch model without an external monitor is not suitable to have more than 1 window of code open at the same time. Also, if this is your first Macbook with a notch, note that the Menu bar items will be hidden and practically are inaccessible when they are extended to the notch area. Having used a Macbook without a notch before, this was somewhat frustrating. Despite this, the pros of this device are outstanding enough for me to keep this for multiple years as my daily driver. Unless you need to perform graphics intensive work that may require more RAM or SSD space, this is the best value laptop in the industry with this level of computing power for personal software development, alongside its industry leading build quality and power efficiency that allows a workflow away from the charger basically all day long.

I have had a Macintosh computer since 1984 and have upgraded multiple times through the years. This MacBook Pro, M4 Pro is just awesome. It is extremely fast and the keyboard is fantastic! The keyboard is very responsive the battery life is amazing. Can’t say enough about this MacBook and BestBuy’ great customer service.

My Sony headphones also have an auto play/stop feature that works fine on Windows, but doesn’t behave correctly with Zoom or Teams on macOS. This MacBook has been a gamechanger for me. I do a lot of video editing for my bands social media accounts and it has allowed me to render out these videos much quicker (and also while on the road) than when I edited on my pc desktop. It is also much more convenient and reliable that when I edited footage on davinci on my m2 iPad Pro. my desktop has a 2080ti which was no slouch for editing and gaming, but now that Im using 10 bit 4k S log footage, I needed something that could handle the footage in the timeline without lagging. the display is beautiful. it seems to be pretty accurate for color grading and also is super bright for editing HDR content the other thing that has blown me away is the battery life. even though im doing some heavy duty editing, I don't need to be plugged in to get a full day of work out of the machine. this is great since I live my life on the road with my band. I haven't had to worry about not being able to complete a project before the battery dies. Overall, I think that this is probably the nicest piece of tech that I have ever own. It is almost unbelievable the performance to price and the battery life. If you don't have an M series MacBook Pro, get one now

I recently picked up an Open Box 14-inch MacBook Pro (M4 Pro chip, 24GB Memory, 1TB SSD, Space Black) from Best Buy, and I’m really happy with the whole experience! Ordering online and picking it up in-store was super smooth, and the laptop itself has been awesome—no issues or blemishes at all. My fiancée loves how much faster and more spacious it is compared to her old MacBook Pro, and wow does it hold a charge, she's probably charged it twice in the last week. We got Apple Case without any hassle about it being "Open-Box". It came in the original Apple box (just sealed with a bit of Best Buy tape), and there aren’t any blemishes we can see. Plus, we saved a few hundred dollars by going the Open Box route, which is a great bonus. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking to save some cash.
