As someone who works on large-scale media projects—real estate videos, event highlights, drone footage, and heavy multi-layer edits—this 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 chip has been a total game-changer for my workflow. The 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU deliver incredible speed, even when juggling 4K footage, color grading, and multiple apps at the same time. What really stands out is how effortlessly it handles long editing timelines without stutter, lag, or dropped frames. Rendering times are noticeably faster, and background tasks like exporting, transcoding, or syncing files no longer slow down my entire system. The 16GB of memory paired with the 1TB SSD makes a huge difference when managing high-resolution media libraries and large project files. Everything feels instant—opening apps, transferring footage from external drives, scrubbing through videos, and jumping between Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and DaVinci Resolve. Battery life is impressive too, especially for on-the-go shoots or editing sessions away from the studio. The machine stays cool and quiet, even under demanding workloads. If you’re a content creator, editor, photographer, videographer, or anyone handling major creative projects, this MacBook Pro will absolutely streamline your editing process and elevate your output. It’s powerful, reliable, and built for professionals who need speed and consistency every single day. Highly recommend.

I’m very pleased with this MacBook Pro. The M5 chip is fast and responsive, and the 16GB of memory handles multitasking smoothly without slowing down. The display is sharp and vibrant, the battery life has been impressive, and the overall build quality feels premium. The 1TB SSD also gives me plenty of storage for documents, applications, and other files. I especially appreciate how quickly the laptop starts up and how smoothly everything runs, even when I have several applications open at the same time. Overall, this is a powerful, well-built laptop that works equally well for everyday use and more demanding professional tasks. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-performance laptop.

(sorry in advance, I was in a rush when I wrote this and grammar is not my forte, please forgive me;) I love my MacBook Pro. I ordered my MacBook Pro on August 18th, so it is still pretty new to me and as far as I can tell this is going to be a much better experience than with Windows. This is is my first MacBook Pro. I owned a MacBook Air in 2019 for about a year and hated it because the storage was awful and it was a purchase I made on HSN. (never again) I sold that and went back to Windows. Fast forward to March 2020, I needed to purchase a computer fast because we were moving to work from home and the company did not have any computers available to issue to me. So I went out and bought a ASUS Zenbook Flip 15. That computer honestly served me well for 6.5 years. I used it every day for for work and zoom using multiple programs at once, but until just recently my ASUS is just not working right anymore, it was a workhorse and it is tired. I no longer need to work long hours but I do need a computer that will handle the capabilities of running and maintaining my small cleaning business. I decided to spoil myself with this MacBook Pro. I am not a person who likes to upgrade ever 2 years. I intend to keep this computer as long as I can to get its full value. (1$,999 msrp I paid $1849 thru best buys 60th anniversary sale). Obviously It has a lot to live up too as 6 years is a long time and I will definitely update this review within 30 days/ 6 months/1 year to once a year - if I remember. (lol). Long story short, I like to get the value out of my devices. I paid $1500 for my iPhone 14 Pro Max when It first came out and I refuse to get rid of it because that phone is amazing, I just recently ran it over with my truck and it still lives. I excited for my time to use this MacBook, the battery already seems amazing, the speed is fast, and someone on reddit compared these MacBook Pro's to witch craft? Maybe they are, they are just that good. One feature I love is that my husband and I can share this computer with out own accounts and Apple ID, not sure if that is something that has always been a feature or not but I really appreciate sharing this computer with him. I love apple and I love this MacBook Pro. 30 day update will be provided soon. Also I still love ASUS and windows but prefer the simplicity of all my Apple devices are now connected seamlessly

I recently purchased my first MacBook and wasn’t sirenifinshoudk choose the MacBook Air or pro. After doing some research I decided to go with the MacBook Pro, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The performance is incredibly fast with apps opening instantly, multitasking is smooth, and there’s no lag even when running multiple programs at once. The Retina display is stunning. The colors are vibrant and sharp, which is perfect for creative work like designing, writing, or editing photos. The battery life also exceeds the standard, one-day expectation exactly like what my research said it would be The build quality feels premium and durable. It’s lightweight but powerful, making it great for both home and on-the-go use. Overall, the MacBook Pro is a solid investment if you want reliability, speed, and professional-level performance. I will be getting the Mac desktop later on

Absolutely Love My New MacBook Pro! I am so happy with my purchase! The 14-inch MacBook Pro in Space Black is absolutely beautiful. The design is sleek, elegant, and feels very premium. The performance has been amazing so far. The 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU, combined ok with 16GB of memory and 1TB of SSD storage, give me plenty of power and space for everything I need. Everything feels fast and smooth, and I love not having to worry about running out of storage. The 14-inch size is also perfect for me—large enough to comfortably work on, but still compact enough to take with me wherever I go. And honestly, the Space Black color is gorgeous! A few years ago if you asked me whether I would buy a Windows machine or a Mac I would have laughed at the absurdity of the question. Apple was slow, overheated, overpriced, and then you throw on the lack of right to repair issues and the monopoly they held on their insurance... It was a joke. The only benefit was the ecosystem/walled garden which is also perhaps one of the biggest setbacks depending on how you look at it. Pros - Now we have the M series Macbooks. The raw power of these machines, the build quality and materials, the battery life, and the amount of software support for them is simply outstanding. The battery life to power-used ratio seems like magic, in fact, coming from windows or an intel based mac. These laptops will run heavy games, software, and playback 4k video for HOURS on end. They run extremely cool and quiet even under heavy loads, the speaker quality is unmatched, the screen quality matches the best and brightest of the OLEDs out there. They are simply brilliant machines and windows is SCRAMBLING to catch up with their new APUs and Mobile Chips. You couldn't ask for a better laptop and the base model M5 is worth every penny of the price. Programs such as Crossover will allow you to run any windows apps you previously couldn't and let's not forget everything is being de-compiled and made to run native with the newest A.I. models. Windows manufacturers simply do not have an answer for how amazing the macbook is for it's price (speaking of the base model specifically). I only got the 1TB storage model because it was on sale and cost the same at the time I purchased it. Cons - Perhaps Apple's biggest glaring issue with Macbooks is their monopoly on parts/repairs and their overpriced and absurd insurance. Best Buy offers 2 year warranties for 99$ that will replace your laptop with no copay on most windows machines. Meanwhile Apple is charging hundreds of dollars for 2 years of coverage and then wants hundreds more on copay for replacement. Not only that, but they will NOT allow third parties to insure their products because they refuse to sell repair parts to third parties so you are forced to buy theirs. With so many machines having problems and the aluminum and glass structures being so vulnerable (although also VERY nice) it's simply a requirement to get the insurance or you can find yourself in a VERY bad spot with a 2000$ paperweight. They have all the parts and they refuse to let anyone else work on them. Despite this some companies try to. In recent years apple WILL let you order some specific parts for self repair or for third parties to repair them, but not many. Also when you go to an apple store often they will replace the entire macbook instead of fixing something as simple as replacing a chip or capacitor on the board a 45minute soldering job. Which means a bigger copayment from you. Upgrades.... You cannot upgrade ANYTHING on a macbook these days. Whatever RAM, processor, and storage it comes with is what you are locked in to for as long as you own it. This incentivizes "future proofing" by making you want to buy more RAM or Storage in case you need it... only they charge more for those parts than their equal weight in gold LITERALLY. I wouldn't recommend EVER buying upgraded storage or processors. You can always add external storage (NAS) if you need it and when it comes to processing power next years base model will be faster than this years processor upgrade AND it will still cost less than upgrading your current year... so just upgrade to the newest base model once every year or two as needed and save yourself a TON of money. "Future proofing" a macbook by trying to buy extra upgrades is simply ridiculous at the prices they charge for those parts. RAM is perhaps the only upgrade I would even slightly consider on a mac and you will pay DEARLY for it. 16GB may not be enough depending on your workflow so this is the ONLY acceptable upgrade to consider. As for storage just buy a NAS and if you need a bigger display buy one and connect with a USB C dock or HDMI. Final Notes - Despite all of the cons, it is once again feasible to buy and own a Macbook in 2026-2027 and it has huge potential. Just follow my recommendations on buying a model, get the overpriced insurance, and invest in a good case. CLEAN SCREEN WITH WATER DAMPENED CLOTH ONLY. No spray and no cleaning solutions. You will ruin the screen coating and void your warranty. Watch for dead pixels after buying. Mine came with several clumps, they replaced it for free under the man. warranty. Their support was good and the mail-in repair took less than a week including shipping times.

I recently purchased the new Apple MacBook Pro with the M5 chip from Best Buy. While I was excited to get my hands on the latest model, I unfortunately noticed a screen defect right out of the box on my first unit. I took it back to the store immediately to complain, and I was incredibly impressed with how they handled it. The Best Buy team didn't give me any trouble at all. On the very same day, they processed an exchange at no extra cost and requested a brand-new machine for me immediately. The replacement is working perfectly and the performance of the M5 is amazing. Huge thanks to the staff for making a stressful situation so easy and hassle-free. If you're buying high-end tech, this is why you buy it here!

The screen is sharp, the battery life lasts all day, and the overall build quality feels solid and premium.
