I’ve been using the Apple laptop with the M4 Max chip and 1TB of storage for a few weeks, and it’s been an incredible experience. The performance is lightning fast—whether I’m editing 4K videos, running multiple apps, or just working with dozens of tabs open, it never slows down. The 1TB storage is more than enough for all my files, and transferring data is quick and seamless. Battery life is a standout; I can easily go a full day without reaching for the charger, even with heavy use. The design is sleek and lightweight, the display is stunning with vibrant colors and sharp details, and the keyboard and trackpad are a dream to use. My only complaints are the steep price and the limited number of ports, but if you’re looking for top-tier performance, long battery life, and ample storage, this laptop is absolutely worth it.

I got this photograph editing for my business. I’ve always been an HP person but out of the box and I’m already in love with this MBP. The only thing that I’m still working on is opening and closing pages because those options are in opposite corners. I love this and hate I waited so long to get a MBP

Amazing laptop... Purchased to replace my M1 Mac Book Pro 16". Super fast, screen is great, keyboard and trackpad have a great feel. I use of all around computing and keeping up with my photography shoots when on the road. Price was better than at Apple. Best Buy staff were very helpful.Highly recommended.

This was a major upgrade from my previous model (mac intel).

If you can afford it, get it. This is my first MacBook and I don’t regret it one bit, even though it is beyond my skill level. It’s just a great thing to have, but it’s also something you’ll want to work on and maybe even learn something new. Get it.

Amazing product, but I would recommend more RAM for anyone using Adobe products regularly. May be a little overkill for the average user who doesn't have a need to edit graphics.

I ordered a brand new MacBook Pro M4 and was shipped a used Google chrome laptop in a used MacBook Pro case. The headache of trying to receive the correct item was so unimaginable I eventually just asked for a refund. I will willingly pay for this from a different provider. What’s worse, the Best Buy employee who took my order lied to me to get me to sign up for Best Buy Plus. He said I’ll get $10 for every $100 I spend, a blatant lie. Not only did an employee blatantly lie to me, but I was sent a used & incorrect item for what was supposed to be a brand new product. The lack of customer service help was astonishing enough to make me want to leave this review as a cautionary tail. The lack of customer service willingness to mediate the situation was also astonishing. I hope this saves someone time

As a new Mac user, I’m very impressed with my MacBook Pro 16”. The build quality is excellent, the screen is stunningly clear, and the battery life has been strong so far. It is a bit heavy to carry around, but that comes with the size. I haven’t yet tested it with photo or video editing (the main reason I purchased it), but overall it feels like a reliable and powerful laptop.

I picked up the MacBook Pro (M4) with 36GB of unified memory and a 1TB SSD, and it’s the first laptop that doesn’t make me compromise. Apps open instantly, timelines scrub smoothly, and heavy multitasking (Chrome tabs, Lightroom, Final Cut/Xcode, Slack, Zoom) never slows it down. The M4 chip feels effortlessly fast while staying cool and quiet—even under sustained loads. The display is stunning: rich contrast, excellent brightness, and super-fluid scrolling that makes long editing sessions easy on the eyes. Speakers are surprisingly full for a laptop, the keyboard is comfortable for long writing sprints, and the trackpad remains best-in-class. Battery life is another highlight; I can work through meetings, edits, and a flight without hugging a charger. Ports cover most of what I need (MagSafe, SD card, HDMI, and multiple high-speed USB-C), so I rarely reach for a dongle. Is it expensive? Yes. But if your time is valuable and your projects are demanding, the performance, thermals, and build quality justify it. This is the rare machine that feels like an investment rather than a splurge. As the title states, this machine does not disappoint. While I had initially purchased the 14” variant, it all came down to screen size and with the smaller screen it made working harder. Bigger screen = more possibilities. As side from the screen size debacle, which ever you choose the M4 Max chip has handled every single thing I’ve thrown at it without skipping a beat. This should last for many years to come. Display is amazing and even more so when you dock it up to a proper monitor. Coming from an Intel Mac, this was a past due upgrade and I’m glad I did. Laptop hasn’t overheated nor have I heard any sort of fan noise. This was the same case for the smaller model. If you want the best Apple offers currently it’s going to be the M4 Max chip.
