I think this is a pretty solid generation of Apple Watch. As far as I could tell from Apple’s website, the only difference between this watch and the Ultra was how deep underwater it could go and how big the screen is. It has all of the same health features, including recording electrocardiograms. Very neat. The battery life has been really great so far. Everyone I know that has previous gen Apple Watches complain about it being dead all the time. I’ve never had that problem and I don’t even charge it that much. I would estimate I probably wear it for 21hrs a day and charge it for the other 3. I wear it to sleep to track my sleeping habits (it seems pretty good at that), charge it for 30min while I shower, then wear it for my whole active day. Once I’m back home and settled in my bedroom, I charge it for a couple hours and change while I’m on my PC then throw it right back on for bed. It’s a good companion device and keeps me off my phone. For some, it might make it harder to stay off their phone, but I dunno I have it set so the watch only goes off for important stuff so I can typically rest easy knowing that, if anything important had happened like a phone call or a page from my FD, my wrist would’ve rumbled. I’d recommend getting a case for the watch. I’m sure they’re very sturdy and scratch resistant as I’ve hit it against many tough surfaces without any issue, but it makes your stomach drop every time it happens so you may as well get a cheap, plastic case for it for peace of mind’s sake. It’s comfortable enough. If you get used to it, you won’t even realize you’re wearing it anymore (that’s how I was able to bang it into things as mentioned in the previous paragraph). It does take some getting used to but I think it’s more to do with the psychology of it than the comfort. The only times I really end up taking it off are more about me not wanting my wrist to be constrained for a bit rather than the watch not being comfy. Mentally, it can feel a bit like an ankle monitor at times because I’ll feel compelled to keep it on for the health benefits it provides me instead of me just wanting to wear it. For some, that might end up being a dealbreaker as it breaks the illusion of breaking free from your phone but for me, it works fine. Also, it’s worth noting you can do all sorts of things on the watch, like texting. It’s not GREAT but it IS possible so PARENTS BEWARE. It can be used to text in class or cheat on tests and many schools have policies against smart watches (which is for the best). I wouldn’t advise this product for minors unless they’re athletes, probably. I think the telemetry would be really great for high school athletes but just ensure it stays off and away in the classroom. I had a first generation Apple Watch in high school and you bet I used that thing to text while I was in class.

Works perfectly! I had the Apple Watch 3rd gen before, and this is a much-needed upgrade. The display is bright even in daylight, the size is just right (45mm), and it fits comfortably. Battery life is also very good – it lasts me the whole day without any issue and charges quickly. It also doesn't scratch easily, although I usually have a screen cover on it.

Absolutely fell in live with this watch. I had first generation SE before and I wasn’t really feeling it. Notifications would not go through or sport tracker wouldn’t not always show correct data. AW9 is a solid upgrade that I want to recommend to everyone! I love the design, battery life is insane, I can do 2 days sometimes, screen is so much better. If you are looking at one, and thinking if you need it, I would absolutely recommend it!

Larger than my original Apple Watch SE. Always on display is great. Light increases when turn wrist for viewing. Charges fast with rapid charge. Has more functions that connect with my Apple TV & iPhone smoothly. Lightweight, wear all day and monitors my sleep as well use for my alarm. No lag, enjoy the multi functions to answer texts, set timers, control apple tv and music

Very nice and useful Apple watch. Has so many functions and able to use it for tracking exercise and many functions like a cell phone or computer. Reasonable price, happy with purchase. large face easy to read.

Great design, upgraded from a series 5. Loving the double tap when alarms go off while holding items in hand. Battery life is great, widgets in face very useful.

I absolutely love this watch. I’ve had it for over a year now and it works great, looks great, and feels great. Love the subtle dark blue color on the sides of the one I bought.

Apple Watches are always interesting because they pack so many features. Usually one is not aware unless you upgrade from a much older version (Gen 6) to the current (Gen 9). Much longer battery life, a keyboard, much better phone calls, the ability to answer phone calls with just a double tap of fingers and so much more. Also remember your watch bands all continue to work.

I love my new watch I wear it all the time. I wished it still had the blood oxygen feature but overall it works great

New to Apple products ( came from Samsung), this watch has been fun to explore. I use the pulse, time and date frequ at work. I like using the workout option for time, pulse and calories used. The watch is easy to use. The battery strength is fantastic. Using it all day for 12 hour shifts, it stays strong. I find the response to messages easy while I am working. As much as I bump my watch as a nurse, it has no scratches or breaks after owning it for 8 months.

Very satisfied with the watch . I just got it in july for health and fitness purposes because of continuous insisting of my trainer and doctors and now am able to see my health related things and my workouts daily and know how my heart is pumping as well as my sleep routine and my sleeping beats . I can definitely say it for sure was worth it and battery lasts as good as 2days

I needed a new watch and this is everything I need. It’s bigger. The up to date of course from what I was coming from which was the series 3. The features the lack of lag. Everything overall.
