This is an excellent release from Arcade1Up. I was a little skeptical going in, simply because I'd read that some people thought the screen might be a little small or the guns were cheaply made. I'm glad I checked it out for myself and didn't sit this one out. I'm not a sportsman, but I've always enjoyed playing Big Buck Hunter in the arcade over the years and I knew what to expect as far as the gameplay was concerned. They nailed it. There's tons of gameplay here too. The game goes on and on. Admittedly, I do wish the screen were a little larger. The game is perfectly playable with the 17" screen, but a larger screen would make it easier for my 47 year old eyes to distinguish the "bulls" from the "cows". The rifles are actually pretty awesome. They are lighter than the ones you'd find on the full sized arcade game, of course, but the pump action works great and feels very reliable. They can be calibrated quickly in the main menu and are VERY accurate. I'd also seen some folks mention that the cabinet might be a little too short for an adult to play comfortably. I'm 6' tall and have no issues there. If there were a taller riser available that brought the screen right up to eye level for adults, that would certainly be cool, but it's not a necessity or a deal breaker at all. If this release from Arcade1Up is on your radar, I'd say go for it. It has tons of replay value and has been a great addition to our game room. I paid full price for it and I'd buy it again tomorrow.

Great fun! Really enjoy this. Wish the screen was 20 inch and the guns seem flimsy but still great fun. Only other issue was the audio plug was popping out and we could not get sound until I took an exacto knive and trimmed the edge of the input plastic. That was concerning because I ordered this back in October didn’t get it until mid January and this is the very last step that you do after you take a couple hours to assemble it. Not sure how I would’ve even made the return or got it switched out considering this is attached to the main display. No problems since and it’s a nice addition to our little home arcade.

Overall a great purchase. Arcade1Up did a fantastic job of recreating the classic hunting arcade game for home use. The screen may look small at first but when you play it feels just like the arcade version. The assembly process seems very daunting at first but take your time with it and it goes together with ease. Only problem I’ve had so far is the green gun doesn’t work sometimes unless I power cycle the machine or unplug the gun and plug it back it. It seems other people have had the same issue so it seems common.

Absolutely love this game! It definitely brings me back to the early 2000s at the bar with friends. I did knock off one star as it didn’t start when plugged in. So I had to take apart the control panel (behind the power button) and tighten all the connections. It worked like a charm after that. I’m sure it was jostled around a little too much during shipping.

I own ten Arcade1up's and Big Buck Hunt is far and wide the most used arcade game of the bunch. It comes with two guns where up to four people can play the 16 different 3-round big game hunts. The graphics are great and the games are pure fun. Each hunt comes with a bonus round where you get to shoot additional targets to add to your score such as ducks, moving pumpkins, jugs, mice, swinging iron targets, flying cow pies, falling coconuts, falling barrels off a waterfall, etc, etc. You can even modify each hunt to fit your needs or just select the bonus rounds to play, which makes good practice.

Awesome game! I was worried about the screen size because of the difference between this and the ones at arcades. But is is awesome! I got the warranty as well just for peace of mind since the guns are getting racked constantly but it is still going strong! Just don’t forget to calibrate the guns or you will think it is broken. If it seems off just re calibrate it and it will be good Also it seems a little expensive but if you think about how much you put into playing it not at home it will save you money in the long run

Love this game and so do all the friends when they come over. This is my 9th Arcade1up and certainly gets played the most. The guns are very accurate and the screen although the typical 17inch is still good to play the game on. I would highly recommend if you are on the fence as to buy or not.

A must buy! Tons of fun! The screen is only 17” and the unit is shorter but honestly sitting on a stool works out great!

We purchased this as a Christmas present for our son (age 11) and daughter (age 8). They absolutely love it. It was a huge hit with all the neighborhood kids as well. So much that another family ordered one for themselves. The unit was not difficult to assemble and seems very sturdy. Its a little short so I built a base to bring it up another 10" or so. The screen size is just fine for two players. There are plenty of game options which add interest to the game. We've only had it for a week so i cant speak to the longevity of the unit.

Great game the kids and adults love it!! Crystal clear and the girls are just as good looking!!!! Hahaha. Fun for all who come over, easy to assemble and enjoy.

I thought the screen size was going to bother me based on all concerns I've been reading about but it does not at all. Guns are surprisingly accurate once you calibrate them (make sure you calibrate them). The only thing for me is the trigger travel. It's not bad but it certainly isn't a trigger. More button than trigger. Still, for the price. I can't knock it down a star for that. Love love love.

This game is insane fun for the whole family. My wife and kids all share in the arcade fun as we challenge each other to all the various games available on this machine. The bonus levels like duck hunting and UFO shooting where a nice touch. The guns are on breakaway cables so nothing will break when the toddler or drunk guy in the house trip over the gun cables. Be sure to calibrate the guns and you’ll have a blast!

Very satisfied. A little work putting together with patients good product for the price.

There were multiple boards missing so it isn’t very secure also one of the guns won’t calibrate (it shots just won’t show calibration and I’ve had no luck getting in touch with arcade1.

Fun,all the same action as the actual arcade version. Wish the screen was bigger, but you get used to it after a bit. Mostly happy with this purchase, but I’m taller, so taller people beware getting the gun to be accurate even after calibrating it is hit or miss because the gun is supposed to be more or less level to be accurate. I don’t know that I would purchase another arcade 1ip machine, but this one is fun enough.
