Good security system

Very sensitive to anything moving in it’s field of vision. Told when battery fully charged, camera would be good for 2 months. I’m finding that’s not true. Wish it were.

Excellent security video

You can talk through it or set an alarm off when someone is in view on the camera. The cameras are small and can run on electrical outlets. There is only one downside and that is there is only one electrical cord included. So if you don’t want to run on battery power all the time, you’ll have to buy one more electrical cable.

Could have been better?

I had one camera connected to the base via wire and one wirelessly mounted. Unfortunately, the one wirelessly mounted (indoors) would have frequent video disconnections on day one. It wasn't my connection, as I have a high end router with multiple bands + 300mbs down internet. The camera wouldn't stay connected if the range from the base station exceeded 5 feet. I ended up returning the system the next day. Another downside was the subscription system required for stored video clips, expected these days, but they should re-focus there efforts on perfecting the hardware first.

Some of the needed changes was the rechargeable batteries, sound and microphone. One of the best qualities of this system is the Arlo’s customer service. I did have an issue with equipment not working, but I did have problems with connecting my 10 cameras into two bases and the service I received was outstanding!!!
