I had the original Arlo cameras since their introduction. I wanted audio and the option to use AC instead of batteries. The Arlo Pro 2 has been working great since I bought the system in May. Haven’t changed a battery yet (on the cameras I don’t power with AC). Once you tweak your sensitivity settings for the video and audio, setup your modes and a schedule, you are good to go!

Good picture quality. Fairly easy to install and set up.

installer not able to do wired install therefore working on batteries. Installer said magnetic mounts which came with camera designed for indoor use. the problem with permanent mounts according to reviews is camera difficult to remove in order to change batteries and connote be wired. will have to see how camera and batteries perform in cold weather.

I was in the market for a home security update and found the Arlo-Pro 4 camera system. What a great purchase! The cameras and system were a breeze to setup and install. I am in the market for an indoor camera now to monitor our fur babies when we are away and will buy Arlo again.

Over the course of two years i have purchased two of the Arlo - Pro 2 Camera Systems so i kind of know what accessories is going to come in the box which use to at the very least include four magnetic mounts, one full size outdoor metal mount, six foot power charging cord, and base station which was equipped with a very loud ear piercing siren. So when i made my third purchase this week i was shocked because I wasn’t expecting to find out that Arlo basically downgraded what I use to get. So now Arlo still included the four magnetic mounts but instead of the nice full size metal mount that use to come in the box has replaced with a much cheaper short stubby mount, and the six foot charging cord was replaced with a much much shorter 12 inch charging cord, and the base station that use to come with the system with the ear piercing siren has been replaced with the same base station that they use in the Ultra 4K camera system, which has a much much quiter siren that frankly is a joke to the point why even have it. And the topper on the cake was after installing Arlo’s updated app and after installing the base station and cameras when i would get an alert it was taking up to five minutes to upload the video clip and at one point it wouldn’t upload the video at all. After, uninstalling and reinstalling the Base Station and cameras with no success I finally gave up and returned the system. Conclusion, Arlo has always included bare minimum accessories with their camera systems, and thats because they know your going to have to buy extra mounts, etc., and you will pay premium price for their accessories and that’s what their counting on. But now they have taken it to a new low by downgrading the mount, charging cord and siren. And lastly ever since I’ve been buying the Pro-2 system the technical issues have gone from bad to good, and now with their new app it’s gone from good to worse and unfortunately for Arlo they’ve lost a long time customer for good.

Arlo Pro 2 cameras are great and easy to set up. Lots of great features.

These cameras have great sound and pictures but do have about a 5 second delay.

Video quality is great quality of hearing from cámara can be better

This is a great, super easy to install and set up camera system. We wound up going up a model to the 3's for some of the more advanced features for not much more $$. All in all a great starter set
