I've used this arlo pro 2 4 camera system for over a year. The few pros include being a somewhat tough camera, it has been dropped and dinged a few times. The cons include wireless because it's never a quick access to the system, usually you have to wait a long time that people already moved out of view. It's not my bandwidth too, we're on verizon fios with equal down and up speeds. Night vision isn't all that great. The video quality is not great for what you pay. You barely make out people's faces. I think you have to mount it too close to people to get a clean view, but then they can just take the camera. The low capacity is bad as well, other cheaper systems include internet access as well as more storage on the local drive so that you can keep as long as there is room. Whenever you take out your camera to charge it creates an open window of opportunity for people to completely get around your security camera system, it's also annoying when you are busy and the camera is low power. There is only one charge cable, other cheaper systems have long ethernet/AV and power cables included. Seriously, you pay so much money for this and they only give you one short usb cable. Overall it's not a good value for what you get, I feel like I was misled by the it being a brand name company (netgear owns arlo brand). I would get more cameras from a less costly brand or even a no name than more money on this system if I were to do it all over again.

Set-up was super easy and the battery life is really impressive.

Great cameras for the home both indoors and outdoor

The new Arlo Pro 2 is by far better than the original Arlo. I’ve only had the new ones up for about a month but I can definitely tell they are superior to the old system. Just being able to recharge will be much better than spending at least $30 for batteries.m every time. And these seem to be lasting longer with the new lithium batteries that an be recharged.

Used for my business lobby and back office area. The views and sound allow for perfect views of interaction between customers and employee's. Perfect for small businesses. The zoom is wonderful.
