I returned it unopen due to being misinformed "not 180 view" only 120 I'm sure its a great product. waiting on the 4k to be rerleased

System performed well initially, issues with battery life. If unresolved with return for refund.

Great Value for security cameras. The down fall battery life was poor.

Purchased these to get rid of our paid for security system. These have been a life saver. The normal app is free but u can get more cameras and feature and pay for the service. Right now we don’t but may in the future when we add more cameras.

We wanted a home video security system without a monthly monitoring fee and this system has been amazing! It does exactly what we were hoping for and we've recommended it to numerous family and friends.

My real beef is that you can buy a 6 pack system but can only use 5 cameras unless you pay Arlo an extra monthly fee. I did not see this mentioned in any of the literature. The overall performance was fair but unreliable. 1 or 2 cameras was alway offline. The WIFI meters on all cameras showed very good connections and my Orbi WIFE System also showed they had very good connections.

If you want a great camera security system at a fraction of the cost look no further. This system is easy to install on your own saving you hundreds and maybe even thousands. The video monitoring is top notch and has great clarity.

Good system, well built cameras. Future enhancements will take this to the next level - HomeKit support, remote motion detectors, triggers, etc.

Great for non tacky types. Little slow but great for my needs. Solar chargers make them great if we want to be gone.

Love the fact that we dont have to drill holes in our house to have device plugged in. Battery also lasts longer than a week.

I like that you don't have to purchase a monthly service for having this alarm system. Not having to purchase a monthly service and being able to monitor it on my own was perfect since I live in a small apartment.

Great cameras and picture but the setup was a little tricky. Still new so not sure how long camera batteries will last yet.

Arlo pro2 allows you to keep the cameras on without worries of the battery going dead if you have it plugged in to a power source. You can use the solar panel or the power supply.

I ordered a set of Arlo Pro cameras in early February ($450 for 3 cameras) that were advertised as cordless, but unless they are hardwired, they do not hold a charge at all! I then returned them and purchased a set of Arlo Pro II’s and 2 solar panels ($800+ for 2 cameras). One of those cameras was also defective and I took it back to Best Buy Who argued with me that they could not take it on a return because I already exchanged them and that they were no longer under warrantee. I had to call the main office of Best Buy in order to get them. Then since I had originally paid for installation they tried to charge me for a second installation. We finally got it worked out nearly 5 months without cameras. I continue to have intermittent outages and the cameras go off-line and I have to climb onto the roof to fix them. I do NOT recommend!

I know they released the newer version but arlo pro 2 does the trick and saves compared to other outdoor cameras. Even in the cold weather they hold up well. Google home compatible I can easily see my cameras from my Google home monitor

Set up can be challenging but the product is high quality. Did not include power cords and need to purchase extra.

My biggest issue is that it doesn't come with an optional plug so that you can plug it in and let it record all the time.

Absolutely Does everything I need it to do. A friend of mine bought a set for his rental property.
