Love the camera and the fact it’s 1080p and the sounds so clear, my kids was freak out when they heard me talking through the camera to them. I made everybody in the family get one.

All 4 of my cameras are mounted indoors and plugged into electric outlets (no need to worry about having to recharge and replace batteries). The cameras work very well and the app is easy to use.

Good but not great. I have since upgraded to the 4K version. The system doesn’t always connect well even though go I have a great networked house. For the price point here it should be better. The neighbors had some stuff stolen, and of course the camera went down at that exact point.

Bought the 4 camera system and love it. Motion detection pics up people coming and going including the neighborhood Tom cat that's lurks around at night. I would recommend this system to any home owner.

Inside or outside these cameras are amazing for a home environment. Have bought several more to add to the system. One is even connected to a tree! Love these.

Great value since this comes with 7 day free cloud storage, unlike the new models. But the downside is not as high quality. I think 1080p is a decent resolution.

Arlo is great for the price but would recommend getting the solar panels to charge or put where easily accessible to charge. Does seem to go offline quite a bit.

I used the solar battery charger and it constantly won't load because the battery is too cold. Hello I live in Maine maybe someone should have mentioned that when they sold it to me. If it is plugged in to a wall unit it is fine but that wasn't a possibility which I mentioned when I bought it. I also don't like the ap since it isn't really user friendly.

Bought camera system to cover all sides of our house. What a great system. In addition to monitoring all sides and entrances to our house, we've captured raccoons, rabbits and cats touring our yard.

This purchase was made primarily to upgrade the cameras of our existing system. We are very happy with the picture quality vs the old camera and plan on adding more cameras based off of this purchase.

    Painfully slow and buggy app

I purchased twis two days ago and it was enough to hate this product. First of all it is painfully slow. My current connection speed at home is 880mbit/925mbits (See screenshot attached) and I am wired connected to the Arlo router using 1Gbit ethernet. My internet connection at work is 150/mbits. And this thing takes 30 seconds to load the feed. You need to close and open the app all the time as feed frequently just stops responding. Camera feed is delayed by 10 seconds. Microphone has nearly 5 second delay which makes it useless to understand. Their newly advertised Alexa Echo Show integration is even worse. you need to say "Alexa show me living room 7-8 times" to make it show the camera only once. All other times you get response that camera is not responding. This camera kit is too expensive to create so many problems. I will definetely return it. So much waste of time to install and configure this thing. I think this should not be sold by Best Buy, it's just a shame.

First, I do like that Arlo is battery operated. But the battery doesn’t last even close to the advertised 6 months. If your camera is recording 24/7 you are looking at about 72 hours of battery life. Advertising is pretty misleading. You have to buy a plan to record, no big deal, but it’s not continuous recording, so you have to flip through small segment, small segment, every time motion is detected. In addition to that, it’s glitchy, there’s a bit of a delay in activating live mode. Also suffered a glitch on one camera where it is always Zoomed in. Luckily my camera isn’t too far out of reach, if I had used this on my home security system and put this up on a light pole, I would of been upset. For the price, definitely not worth it. I’ve bought 4 Zmodo cameras for 100$, they had continuous recording, no battery power though and were less glitchy than Arlo. I think next time I will go with Blink XT2. If I could, I would return the arlo system. It’s rough, start to finish
